Two weeks ago I started having a problem with my iPhone's battery where the entire phone would heat…read moreup almost too hot to touch and the battery would go down to zero within minutes, even when plugged in, so I took my phone to the Verizon store who told us to bring it here for a battery replacement. We brought it here and they said they would run a diagnostic just to make sure it was the battery and they'd call us in an hour. Three and a half hours later they call and say that they're replacing the battery AND the screen. They said the screen "went" while they were running the diagnostic. I never had any problems with the screen at all before but I just took their word for it. They tried to give us the phone back without the case I had on it. They searched half-heartedly for the case for three minutes and then just checked us out, we only got the case back after insisting they look more. We paid $180 for a new battery and a new screen and went home. The next day, a Sunday, I realized the battery issue wasn't fixed, it was still doing the same thing it had been, but I had to go back to college about two hours away from Oneonta. Then Monday night, without warning, the brand new screen suddenly went completely black with one white bar, and wouldn't respond to anything. Meanwhile the battery issue continued to get worse throughout the week until the phone wouldn't charge at all. We brought it back this past Saturday only because we'd already sunk so much money into this place only for them to literally make the phone worse. They replaced the screen AGAIN and still didn't fix the battery issue, and charged us another $25. We brought it back later that same day and they said that the battery won't stay charged because keeping apps open drains it. Now it's Sunday afternoon and my phone is going crazy. The screen doesn't respond to touch correctly and scrolls around, clicks things, and types things on its own. It is completely unusable. I googled the problem and found out something's wrong with the screen or the circuitry. Let me reiterate; I had this phone for almost three years and NEVER had any problem with the screen at all before I brought it here. I'm so done with this place, I wanted to keep this phone but now they've messed it up so much I have to buy a whole new one.

I have never felt so ripped off. My Mac Pro tower finally…read moredied, and I suspected it was the power supply- but wanted to make sure it wasn't a logic board or something else. When I went in, I was told "yes, we work on Macs," and that a technician would call me before the work began. My technician called me a few days later, and said that it appeared that the power supply was bad, but that they would open it up and test it before going any further. I verbally approved him testing the power supply. He called me yesterday to say that "we don't have the equipment to test the power supply after all", but a replacement one would be $199, and the labor $195 to install it- but since they don't have the right equipment to properly test it, it may not solve the problem. At that point, I said "nah, I'll just take it home." The technician told me then that it would be a $45 bench fee when I picked it up. I thought that was a little odd since "we don't have the equipment to properly diagnose this," but hey, they at least did the research to find out what the exact part number was for the power supply. I just picked it up. The technician explained when I arrived that the manager "Ronald F Ranc II" decided that despite not being able to diagnose the computer, and not having the proper equipment, that they'd charge me $95 instead of the normal $45. He said the technician had spent too much time on it, and I should pay more. Mind you, this manager wasn't there to speak to me directly. He made his poor employee tell me all this- even the employee agreed that this was complete garbage. Ronald F Ranc II is a coward. Had this been a legitimate computer repair center, they would have called me immediately and said "hey, we don't have the tools to diagnose this properly" and ended it there. Instead, I'm now $95 poorer, having learned absolutely nothing other than that ISD should not be in business with these kinds of ethics.

The machines are always empty and the class instructors are all fantastic and like to get to know you. I've gone to the morning spin class and the 30 minute class with Kimmy and they are all great! The membership includes classes, the regular gym and pools too! There is coffee out in front and even a bowl of fruit that you can purchase at a low cost. Pretty good for Oneonta!

I looked on yelp and called every number connected to a gym. The YMCA ended up being the perfect place after a few disappointing phone calls. Daytime passes were $30.00 some places. Since I'm not in town long enough for a membership I have to do whatever works at this point. I ended getting great news after i called the YMCA. Only $12.50 a day. and if you bring someone with you it'll be cheaper. State of the art equipment. Olympic size swimming pool. A sauna, free weights and benches too! They have different levels of the gym. It's awesome. This place does a lot for their community and they are most definitely all about the kids! I can't remember all of their names at the front desk. However they were all very nice ladies. Great customer service and they all made me feel at home! They even took me on a tour before my workout. Looking for a gym while your kid is at Allstar village? Or just in this area for whatever reason? The YMCA is the place! Thanks again for the hospitality!
