Everywhere I went to find hearing aids tried to up-sell me a $3,000 to $7,000 hearing aid. I don't need all the bells and whistles in a hearing aid but I did want hearing aids that were small, lightweight & practically invisible. At house of hearing was treated like family, I found exactly what I wanted (Resound brand hearing aids that included the bells & whistles) for just $300 out of pocket plus what my insurance would cover and absolutely no pressure. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in extraordinary hands. Dr. Taylor is not only a gifted Physical Therapist -- he is also an Osteopath, and that distinction made all the difference. On my very first visit, he provided a comprehensive osteopathic treatment, followed by stim therapy and aquatic therapy. I left feeling dramatically better than when I arrived, and with a clear, structured 6-week rehabilitation plan ahead of my next orthopedic surgeon appointment. However the reason for this one star review is while I went there to seek help for my pill addiction, Dr. Riddle (who just so happens to be an ear nose & throat doctor) convinced me I needed urgent sinus surgery (my second day of detox) and then proceeded to botch the procedure leaving me with a dropped flatter bridge (he filed it down making it appear wider) and wide nostrils I never had before (from the drop created by filling pivotal pieces of my bridge. I think it is extremely morally questionable to not only refer yourself to a patient staying at your rehab that came to you for help, but to also to go and botch them to line your pockets twice over (rehab fees + septoplasty) Dr. Riddle was so focused on making ten thousand off my insurance company and making sure I stayed that he put me on OxyContin for two weeks while I was nodding off around the other patients there to get off the same drugs. My breathing is not better, my nose now appears two times it's previous size and Mr. Riddle has not returned any of my calls. I am now having to see a doctor in Beverly Hills that is going to cost well over $12k to fix what he did and rebuild my bridge that Dr. Riddle destroyed. Also when I started to call the office and let them know I wanted to speak with the Dr, he unfriended me and blocked me on Facebook.

I'm just going to echo the other eleven 1-star reviews, because wow -- PEAK ENT Associates has somehow perfected the art of medical absurdity. My wife went in because she felt like food was getting stuck in her tonsils. Reasonable concern. Reasonable appointment. What followed was... not reasonable. They performed one test: a diagnostic laryngoscopy -- a tiny camera down the throat. Fine. $475. Painful, but at least that makes sense. Would've been nice to be warned it costs roughly the same as a used iPhone, but okay. Then the bill arrived. Along with the $475 camera test were two mysterious "Swallow Test Fees": * $422 * $95 When I asked my wife what other tests they did, she said, "None. Just the camera." Interesting. So, I called billing. Billing had no idea. Truly inspiring confidence. Eventually, a nurse explained that during the camera test, my wife had to eat a cookie and take a sip of apple juice so they could "observe swallowing." Yes. You read that correctly. $422 for a cookie $95 for apple juice I don't know where they shop, but apparently these were artisanal, organic, free-range, gold-leaf cookies personally blessed by a gastroenterologist. Naturally, one might assume that watching someone swallow would be included in the $475 throat camera test, but no -- apparently snacks are à la carte. Oh, and don't forget the $260 "new patient" fee, which I assume covers the welcome smile and the privilege of sitting in the waiting room. And the grand finale? After all that: "We don't really know what's wrong. I guess you could get your tonsils removed." Fantastic. $1,252 later, the medical equivalent of a shrug. In summary: If you'd like to pay luxury-restaurant prices for a cookie, apple juice, and zero answers -- PEAK ENT is the place for you. Everyone else, consider this your warning. Sincerly, Brant

The doctor's aid responded by asking "Do you have insurance?"-- I responded that I did. The doctor's aid responded "Then it won't be that much". The treatment took 2 minutes, it literally was nothing more than a paper patch that looked identical to the paper hole-punch when making 3 ring binders. So imagine my surprise when I received a bill that wasn't covered by my insurance that cost $617! In what world does $617 qualify as (using the medical aid's words) "it won't be that much"? $617 was only part of my bill. I paid an additional $300 for additional totally unnecessary tests. I agree with Layne C (Aug 14, 2024) and Ritch A (July 26, 2024): BE UP FRONT ABOUT COSTS to allow patients the ability to make INFORMED decisions to accept or decline tests. A follow-up visit was necessary because I needed the paper patch removed from my ear canal-- during this subsequent visit, every time medical staff went to do a test, I kindly informed them not to do the test if I was going to be charged for it. There were at least 2 or 3 times I got the impression that had I not said that, I would have had several more hundred dollars charged to me for unnecessary testing. As disgusted as I was/am with the lack of transparency-- I will add the staff was pleasant and skilled.

He had great bedside manner and was…read morevery thorough but I am extremely upset with the how the billing is being handled at this office. There is zero accountability for mistakes. I was told that sleep study was covered under my insurance. A month later I received a bill for $250 from a third party! It was never even implied that this was going to cost this much, they told me that "This is covered by your insurance". I have called the third party and they say that, of course, the office said that "[they] tell everyone about these costs. [They] would never imply that there was no cost". Now I am stuck with this bill. I will never go back here! Have a little transparency, and if you can't do that at least have the courtesy to fix your mistakes. Don't go here unless you don't mind receiving lots of bills that you were not expecting
