I saw a sign for Iron tribe and figured I would walk in to check it out and instantly could tell this was a different gym. The coaches are great and really strive to make it a great atmosphere and focus on each individual member to help them attain their goals. I always leave each workout with a sense of accomplishment and a smile on my face. This gym is truly one of its own kind and I highly suggest everyone give it a shot. The trainers Melissa and Amanda are welcoming to everyone and encouraging throughout each workout. I really mean that. I have been to many gyms in my life and this one has figured it out. I feel accepted and welcomed whenever I have stepped foot in the gym. I look forward to getting up for a 9am or 10am saturday workout. (I mean if that doesn't say something - like hello, what gym makes you excited to get up at 7:30 on a Saturday morning after a long work week!?) This is a group HIIT workout gym where they have a set schedule of their classes Monday through Saturday. I have tried out many different group fitness style gyms and this one is the best by far. I love how they explain all of the exercises prior to starting, but they also check on everyone to make sure that you are doing the movement correctly. I think this is HUGE in maintaining a great workout and preventing injury. This gym is phenomenal and you can see how they've really built a strong community. I've been going to classes as often as I can for a year now, so I'm confident in saying how wonderful this place is. The workouts are always different and target so many muscle groups that can easily be forgotten about when working out at traditional gyms on machines. Dumbbells & weights strewn everywhere so you have to hunt for what you need. 1/2 of the time the paper towel dispensers are empty so you can't wipe down the sweat stained equipment . First time,I arrived and left immediately because the air ducts smelled like mold. Tonight, the smell was even worse--it smelled like sewage. I asked the front desk clerk about the issue, and she was kind enough to say that a plumber had come to assess the pipes and found no problem. I appreciated that she took the initiative to open the doors and air out the place, but it was still rank. Now, let's talk about the upstairs area. My boyfriend and I were concerned a couple of months ago when we noticed three huge cracks across the entire length of the cardio equipment work area. Needless to say, this issue made me feel unsafe, so I decided to work out downstairs that day. When I asked about it at the front desk, the clerk said he would bring it up to the manager. However, the cracks are still there. But the smell is the worst part. It's just awful. I'm starting to consider looking at other gyms because this place seems to be getting worse and worse.

Who answered the phone it was a guy and he also had a nose piercing he did not say his name at all When I called to ask about gym rules and requested to speak with a manager, I was told I would not be transferred unless I provided my full name. I was also told that I needed to explain the reason for my questions, and at one point I was told my questions were "stupid." The call then ended abruptly while I was still trying to clarify the situation. I found this interaction to be unprofessional and unhelpful, especially when I was simply trying to understand your gym policies. I was not given clear or respectful information, and I was not given the opportunity to speak with a manager. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and that people be provided with clarification regarding your gym rules and appropriate procedures for member communication. I won't be coming to that gym at all you can even allow to people to sing when they're working out... fk the gym fk the team is disgusted and not professional at all ... and I give a one start bc is no other choice .

The manner in which your owner of the Athletica Bonita Springs, Florida location oversaw the entire issue was deplorable. Ending with a final comment to me saying "you really expect people to be honest?", which tells me all I need to know about him and including the employees under him. Being a fellow business owner within the same community I expected some empathy or at least an effort to show integrity. This did not happen, so at this time I chose to part ways with Athletica. The Lee County Sheriff is now investigating the matter. However, I felt you should be aware that this owners' actions or inaction reflect badly on your name/brand.

I was charged another $39 and told my membership would expire the next day. When I questioned this, the kid processing the cancellation stated he understood the concern (paying $80 in total for 8 days of gym use..) and said he would alot me access for the following 10 days. I went to this location tonight after getting off work & my fob would not allow me into the gym. I've left a voicemail requesting someone contact me back & help get this corrected, but based on reviews it seems like chances are slim I will ever hear back. Absolutely would not recommend this location. The anytime website suggests you give a 30 day notice to cancel, typically with commercial gyms that means they will charge you one more month & you will have access to the gym until your membership lapses, apparently not the case here. If this were a boutique gym or one that offered anything other than sweat stained, smelly machines, I could understand a monthly rate of $80. It will, however, never make sense for a place like this one. Choose wisely & choose somewhere else! -someone who frequently worked out here based on convenient location
