But for me, it was where I realized I wanted to pursue higher education. Just have gotten out of ESL classes the year prior, NW Classen gave me a much needed confidence boost at the expense of other underachievers. I made quick progress with each passing years and in the end was top 3 of my graduating class, but could have been higher if it wasn't for the language barrier. Not being popular was what really helped me, but it didn't matter to me much. I didn't care if I fit in with others, a loner I guess. I would often had lunch by myself in the math classroom at noon. Thank you for the wonderful educators at NW Classen for instilling knowledge and giving me a good head start before college. When it was college time, I was more than ready academically. For those who feel not fitting in or being laughed at, just persevere because the winners are the people that get the last laugh.

It's a cold winter day and the parking lot is packed. The gym is spacious and today not very packed. I think most kids are still on Christmas break so that could be the reason for low attendance. I was surprised the game is free today, it's a nice surprise! Overall a good day for college basketball!!!

Two weeks before student's graduated in the work flex Nurse program. I found it odd, they reduced grades for no reason, but to make sure they are below passing after 4 years of work and helping patients through a work based' program. like they failed if it really isnt them. It sound scammy messing with grades 2 weeks before they graduate to lower them when they originally woulda passed. This is what some students showed me and told me that are friends of mine. I think they raise a good argument here.

So when I called to make an appointment to enroll they told me the wait list was 3 years. Next they told me they were thinking about opening the same course on another campus. If you have a 3 year long wait list what is there to think about? Then I called on attending their cyber security program and the enrollment counselor told me the list is so lengthy she couldn't tell me how long it would be. Why not tell people upfront on your website your classes are full for some time to come so they don't start arranging their lives to attend just to find out it's not even possible.

I know it's odd to review an elementary but wanted to point out a few of the things the teachers…read moreand staff do for the community. Besides educating children for very little money, they host a lot of events that empower students such as math and science night (which btw, was super fun and cool). The school had a run down track and did a fun run to raise funds for a new track, soccer fields, and greenery. Not only does this benefit the school, but taxpayers, even those without children, have access to these things. Schools struggle and yet they still manage to give back. Well done!!

The student body is diverse, as well, and that's a huge bonus in a world filled with pig ignorant tribalism and sheer bigotry. The old school nuns who once ran the attached convent and the school itself are, I'm sure, almost entirely gone. (Is the Oklahoma City archdiocese now in control of things? I'm genuinely curious.)

My advice is, do not send your children here. The administration is full of people that do not care…read moreabout your child's success, only about covering their own behinds, and will lie to do so. A select group of teachers routinely fail students, pick favorites, and grade unfairly. Some administrators have an elitest way of looking down on people that don't donate huge sums of money to the school. Rude and superficial. Everything is about how it "looks" and not how it actually is. Many of the students actively use drugs and somehow don't get caught. Students get away with violating dress code with skirts so short you can see everything you shouldn't. Cheating routinely takes place among students and academic dishonesty can be bought off too. Bullying is severe for some students and the school does nothing to stop it. Athletes receive special treatment and grades they did not earn. Administration says summer course work is accredited, charges $600 for a course but later does not allow credit toward graduation to be received for it. Personally looking forward to getting my children away from this place, not only for them, but for my own peace. I cannot wait to get us all as far away as possible from these snobs. More than $15,000 tuition per student per year, and only slightly less cost for "participating" Catholics. Other religions' members can attend but they pay more. Not sure if that is an excuse to charge more or if it is the cost of tolerance, but discrimination is wrong! They do not care.
