I was allowed via the kind wife of owner here for a while. Well Randy, your wife sure let me board…read moreand then you returned the present that I gave you. You almost killed my horse because you would not take him to the veterinarian when it was cold. The USEF says otherwise about you, so I won't recommend or be near your barn ever again! Original: I found out some things that were just unacceptable when it comes to trust. I do not like the way they treat the horses and not tell you if they are sick and just administer medication. I had a very hard time getting the owner to help me. The assistant trainer was not good at all. I do not recommend this at all especially for young children

We love cross creek stables! When we moved here earlier this year my 8 year old suddenly was dying…read moreto take horse back riding lessons. After calling many different barns with little luck I found Cross Creek and I'm so glad I did. They are truly geared to teaching children how to ride. I am not an equestrian and know pretty much nothing about horses. I needed a good barn which would teach my daughter everything she needed to know and be safe doing it. I love the instructors at cross creek. They are great at managing different ages and riding proficiency in the same group lesson. The lessons are super affordable and they have several time slots to choose from almost every day of the week. It makes finding time to ride super convenient. I love that they offer students the ability to be helpers during other lessons for a discount on their tuition. The facility is well maintained and the main riding area for lessons is covered with fans so no matter the weather the lessons can happen. The horses all seem to be well taken care of and great with children riding them. We attend weekly lessons as well as a camp this summer that my daughter loved. We have had a great experience at Cross Creek!

I don't go to this one but I do go to the one at 122nd and MacArthur. I have been taking my…read moredaughter to KidStrong for over a year now. When we first started she was shy and timid. She got close to the coaches and gained self confidence. I no longer have to do hand over hand during the affirmations " I am strong, I am brave, I can do this". Now she encourages me to do it along with her. I'm so thankful that there's a place that was able to turn her into the caring outgoing little girl she is today. I especially like that they send you an email after every class along with pictures. This allows me to enjoy my time participating in the class with her.

We have really enjoyed coming to Kidstrong this winter. My kids' favorite sport is swimming, they…read moreare both little fish the minute they can get in the pool. But we don't get to swim much in the winter, except when we travel a little or for indoor swim lessons we take to keep up our skills. I decided this year I wanted them to do something during the winter, and my trainer told me about Kidstrong. I was always a pretty nerdy kid. I was socially awkward, and I was clumsy. I didn't really know how much space I took up, and I couldn't do things like monkey bars until much later than most. The rope in gym class - fuggetaboutit. So I was encouraged to find something that would help my kids have a better understanding of how their bodies move and what they are capable of. I think there is a misperception that this place is just for the very sporty kiddo, when I feel the opposite is true. It is a safe place to try new things, get out of your comfort zone, while surrounded by caring coaches and parents. Then, when you get out to the playground or the PE class, you have a little more confidence in your skills, and a knowledge of how to do some of the basic things. My kids love it, and though we will probably take a break during the summer months, with all the swimming and all the camps we're attending, we'll be back in the fall.

If you have children enrolled here pay attention to that live feed because Miss Beth along with other teachers get rough with the kids also these teachers talk to these kids crazy and they simply don't care. I call myself checking in on my little one and I see him sitting on his bed with his pants and underwear down. I call Miss Beth and she tells me this crazy story basically blaming my son for leaving the bathroom after he had an accident which is so bizarre. The story didn't make any sense no matter how innocent she tried to make it sound. Once we're off the phone I decided to pick him up early. Conveniently when I got there, there is a different teacher in the classroom and Miss Beth was nowhere to be found. I tried to address my concerns, the story then changes and Kim self chimes in as if she was in the classroom. Kim gets loud and cuts me off while I'm speaking. The director never came out her office. Just pitiful. The point I was attempting to make is if I'm watching the live feed and other parents obviously have the same access I do .... I'm sure they saw what I saw. There's no reason my son's genital area should've been exposed and who knows for how long. Miss Beth said she couldn't find his extra clothes .. but you all wouldn't let me forget it upon him starting. I packed everything in a ziplock bag which was labeled. I'm sure his items would've been easier to find had the classroom been more organized and he had his own cubby like you said you would do on his very first day. It is pure chaos up in there.. I'm praying heavily for a change for the sake of those little babies still enrolled. I tried to let this matter go but I simply couldn't, I'm not sure what type of parent you all thought I was but anybody can get blessed behind what I birthed !
