Very very small portions do not recommend! Use to get almost double the amount of food at edo.

Harvey's Restaurant

Wow, this Harvey's is pretty terrible. Slow, disorganized... here's a quick rundown of the…read morecustomers that I noticed in the short time we were in the restaurant: Customer #1: orders chicken burger & fries; they put the fries on his tray and then he waits while they cook his burger - by the time the burger is ready, the fries are cold. Customer says he'd like new ones; they ignore his request. He comes back to the counter a couple minutes later and again asks for new fries, this time he gets them. Customer #2 (me) ordered 2 combos (burger/poutine/drink and burger/onion rings/drink) and 1 kids meal. I'm told they are out of Coke Zero (for the fountain drinks that come with the combos), so I say OK diet is fine, and am instead given 2 empty fountain cups and a 500 mL bottle of Coke Zero. 2 burgers came fairly fast; had to wait for the poutine, then had to wait more for the kids cheeseburger, and then waited even longer to get the onion rings. Customer# 3: got thru pretty quick - I think he grabbed the cheeseburger that was meant for us so good for him, LOL. At any rate, he grabbed his stuff and was out of there long before we finished getting our order. Customer #4: had to wait for their food as well, and also discovered that they were out of hot peppers (one of the standard burger toppings) Customer #5: almost got a burger which had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while, but called them on it so they had to make a fresh one (Harvey's makes a point in their commercials of claiming everything is made fresh to order). That is all the complaints I noticed, anyway. Considering we were only there about 10-15 minutes, that's a lot of unhappy customers. It wasn't as if they were short-staffed; they had 3 employees behind the counter - one on the register, one assembling the orders and one cooking the food. They didn't seem to help each other out - just stand around looking confused when their part of the order was done - not much communication or time management skills, and got a 'deer-in-the-headlights' look each time a customer made a complaint or had a request. Fast food shouldn't be this hard, guys.
