Worst furniture shopping experience ever! My wife and I have always been Haverty's customers but…read morethought we would see what Laz-Y-Boy could offer. On March 20, 2026 my wife and I went to the Laz-Y-Boy Lexington, SC showroom and were helped with our living room selection by Sales Person Bobby Bloom and Interior Designer Dayna Avicka. All together we spent over $13,000 dollars building our dream living room. The assistance received by Bobby and Dayna was exceptional, we were told we would receive periodic updates as the order was being processed. Unfortunately, the exceptional experience ended once we signed off and paid, and never once did we receive any phone calls from Bobby regarding our purchase, as promised. After waiting nearly six weeks our furniture was finally scheduled for delivery. Once delivered, we quickly realized that the two sofa tables we purchased were not what was described to us or showed in the computer designed depiction of the room layout. I pointed it out to the delivery personnel who said we needed to consult with our sales person. After calling and speaking to Bobby he initially said that this was a special order that could not be modified, returned, or refunded. I questioned this response as my issue was with two sofa tables, not a selected piece of furniture that was specifically built based on our personal taste. The specific issue was that the two tables were described to us as being symmetrical and would be placed on either side of the television console we were also purchasing; the interior design pictures reinforced this perception. The sofa tables delivered were not symmetrical, they were identical, which made the room look unbalanced. The "solution" offered was to turn one sofa table around so they would appear to be symmetrical, this "idea" did not fare well as turning around the table rendered the two drawers inaccessible, especially when each table was $999.00. We later spoke with the Manager, Chris Crandle, who said he spoke with the salesperson and designer separately and they both said they informed us that we would have to turn a sofa table around and that the computer depiction was not accurate as it was "modified" to reverse the sofa table giving a symmetrical appearance. I stated that we never agreed to this, and if this was a "special order" I would have expected the salesperson to document this modification in the design and have us sign off that we were made aware of this. It is my belief that, the salesperson and designer collaborated on a version of the truth to save face and make us, the customer, look like the negligent party. Several more back and forth conversations occurred between us and the Manager, ultimately resulting in Laz-Y-Boy offering to exchange the tables for something that would satisfy us. We selected a different set of tables and were told it would be another six weeks to receive them, have the wrong tables picked up, and credit us the difference in cost. Ultimately it will be FOUR MONTHS to get a living room set delivered. Through this whole ordeal we continually were told we would receive phone calls to get resolution; nine time out of ten we had to continuously call, and in several instances got passed around or handed off.... Horrible, horrible experience!

They are located in the Trenholm Plaza, which since I graduated from college has turned into real shopping destination. The items in the store run the gamut from jewelry all the way to upholstered furniture. I love the mix of textures in the shop. It's easy to feel intimidated in a place like this, but several staff members asked if they could help us. While we ultimately didn't find what we needed here, I have no doubt that next time we are searching for something that MACK will be on our list of places to stop! This is a wonderful store with an eclectic mix of unique pieces of furniture, home furnishing, artwork, jewelry and other accessories. The thing that drew me in the most were the items that make a house feel like a home... an adorable set of salt and pepper shakers, a fabulous bar set, or an adorable set of cocktail napkins that would surely liven up any party. The store goes on forever (I never realized how big that space is) so you'll have plenty of things to see and choose from. This is a great place to pick up an unexpected gift or a little something for yourself. I'm sure I'll be stopping by again soon!

I requested through Costco someone to come and take measurements for a desk/bookshelf in the…read moreoffice and Beth came and provided us with a design that she worked with her Autocad while she was here. We approved the design and waited about four months for the huge piece to be built. It looks wonderful and it is just what we wanted. Two countertop 4 feet pieces had to be built again and replaced because there was a gap of about .5 inch on each side that the installer told us about when he finished and he assured us it was all the way from the back wall and not just on the front which they eventually tried to blame on the wall. Even if the wall was bowed the measuring should have accounted for the variance. What is important here is that they did replace the two 4 foot pieces with two new slightly larger pieces that make it all the way to the wall and leave no gaps at all. It took some explaining to the owner/manager and he ordered the replacement pieces and this time he sent two people that had to do some disassembling but got it done in less than four hours and did a great job. The company will stand behind their work and make any repairs to make it look professional and that is why even if we had to wait a little longer we are giving them 5 stars. Very happy with the work done and if I had to use them again I would do it in a heartbeat.
