I only gave it a 1star because it was pet friendly. The service and food were pretty bad. We had a novice waitress that didn't know the menu and wasn't smart enough to lie or embellish the food on the menu. Her response was I don't know to pretty much any questions. We needed silverware and only my husband got some - strange. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered soup as an appetizer and received it with my meal. I told the waitress that I didn't want my soup because it was brought too late. She didn't seem to understand or care. I was charged for it . Didnt care for the restaurant, the food or the service. To keep customers hydrated and adequately fed on a crazy busy day and to still do so with a friendly demeanor is worth applauding for sure. The chips and salsa kept us content for the brief wait for tamales and bean burrito! The tamales were flavorful and the bean and cheese burrito was as one would hope! A friend and I went in for a quick bite and had a great experience. Our waitress and the gentleman we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful. Our food came out In a timely fashion and was very tasty. The complimentary salsa was also delicious. I ordered the carne asada burrito and loved it. The baked folded beef tacos (from their healthier designated sectioning the menu) passed the handheld test, meaning from beginning to end there were no blowouts of the tortilla spilling its contents all over. The shredded beef was drained of excess juices furthering the reliability of the tortilla. Both the portion, and proportion, of the taco contents were appropriate. In other words they didn't skimp, nor did they overstuff and the ratio of meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato was well balanced. I did notice some of the shredded cheese that was nestled next to the beef wasn't fully melted. Fortunately it didn't need to be, they were very enjoyable. The salsa had a bit too much black pepper in it for me, but otherwise was very tasty. The salsa had a bit of a bite and was thick enough to stay on the chips during it's journey upward. The fresh unseasoned chips appeared to be fried round tortillas broken in quarters (mostly) and tasted a bit greasy to me. I've found the darker the chip, the less likely I will enjoy it. The rice was dry and clumpy so I mixed it with the beans which were a bit thin and runny (My apologies to those who can't stand different foods touching). They had fountain Coke (thank goodness it wasn't the other cola) which was mixed well with lots of bubbles. The last thing I'll mention is they offer a true dine-in restaurant experience. It's indoors, with a server where you order, eat and pay all at your table. They have outside dining as well if that's your thing. read more

I am visiting family in Yuma and my brother-in-law, who is hosting the event for the weekend, invited everyone to Eduardo's for the first meal together. They had tables pushed together, ready to accommodate us. My wife and I happened to arrive at the specified time, which turned out to be the last to get there. There were chips and salsa on the table and our beverage order was taken and delivered in good time. We were a party of 10 in total. The server that took the food order was very efficient and knowledgeable. I had a couple of questions and she was able to help me sort out my choices. When the food was delivered it was a little random, which seemed to be a management choice. I assume the goal is to get the food to the table straight from the preparation tables as soon as possible, so if something is ready it is sent. So you get a sense of having it auctioned by the server, especially anyone helping her. If they waited a minute or two for everything to be a little more prepared to deliver in the order it was requested, it would allow the plates to cool down just a bit so you won't risk blistering yourself to move them. If they say the plates are HOT they mean it. When my plate came nobody said it directly to me, so I foolishly had to try and yep, like an iron ready to press a shirt. The menu explains that groups of 6 or more would be charged 20 gratuity automatically. It also says the chips are not "bottomless". After the first basket, you would be charged. Our table of 10 was given 2 baskets (the oval, plastic sandwich baskets) that were about 2/3 filled. Suggestions: if you serve that basket to a table of 2 or even 4, then you need a proportionate amount for groups, like a 3rd basket for more than 8. Better still, if you are going to charge the gratuity for 6 or more, I would offer a "bottomless" basket. Soft drinks are free refills. The food tastes very good, which is also why I was sad when we ran out of chips. The service was friendly and efficient. I recommend Eduardo's if you are interested in a good, casual meal in Yuma. Wow! Im glad I came in. I had an 805 while I waited for my Machaca burrito. Smothered. It was delish! I very much enjoyed the ambiance. I enjoy the fact very few people were there. I will go back. I also hope they are very busy each day, except when I am there. I'm selfish that way! I'll be glad to take friends or my best girl. I had a great time, it makes me hopeful for a better Year. Tortilla chips were drenched in lard - ruined the flavor. While the chicken burrito looked good, it, too, tasted of lard. Red wine was listed on the menu, but they didn't have any. We had to ask for knives. Waitress didn't have any restaurant experience. Waitress didn't know the name of the fish that was part of the fish tacos. There were six of us. Dinner was brought out plate by plate. The last dinner was served about 10 minutes after the first. Don't think we'll be back. Once was enough. There are too many GOOD restaurants in Yuma. read more

Came for a quick lunch, while our car was charging, down the street at the Hilton Garden Inn. What a wonderful surprise. The tacos were crisp and fresh, the chips and salsa was extraordinary. Even my daughter's grilled cheese had a wonderful flavor. The waitress, albeit wearing a mask, had smiling eyes. Not sure what all the hype is about. I had really high hopes for this place, based on word of mouth and reviews. I was completely unimpressed. I felt that the menu was very limited. I guess I expected to see more authentic, traditional dishes. Maybe they are catering to older Americans. The food was very bland in my opinion, and so was the salsa. Food was so-so. Charged 11% sales tax. Asked the server why so high? She said she didn't know what it was and that the tax was input into the computer. Will file complaint with state. Made a short stop at the Tesla supercharger and found this little gem a short walk away. Great (spicy!) salsa and fresh made chips unlimited. Potato rolled tacos were delicious. This has always been a favorite of the locals, and for good reason. The food is amazing! They were great at the old location on Avenue B, but everything is even better at the new location! Nice main dining area with big open windows. An awesome bar with TV's, and the freshest chips and salsa in town! My favorite is the enchilada style burrito, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They even have a chicken and rice bowl if you aren't into Mexican food that day. read more

My friends and I had gone in for some drinks and snacks. The vibes were weird and we had felt like the workers were doing their own thing and didn't care much for the guests. We all ordered margaritas and they tasted like salt and triple sec. They were terrible. My friends were too nice to say anything as we are all in the service industry. I on the other hand did mention to my server that the margarita was no good and described to her how it tasted, I told her I didn't want it. She proceeded to bring me a check for a gross drink that I did not drink or want. I then told her I did not want the drink and that I refused to pay for the drink because it tasted like "shit". Not the greatest words to use I know.. but I was irritated . The server then told the owner what I had said about the drink and the owner repeated what I said in a loud mocking voice. Rather than trying to resolve the issue the owner decided to approach it in this manner. Poor service, drinks, management, and ownership. This place sucks. read more
