Last night we enjoyed a delicious dinner and were quite happy with the attentive service provided in this clean spacious Yuma Restaurant. There's a little something for everyone! Add some chicken to the Quesadilla and it makes a meal! Wow. Simply yum! The Bleu cheese burger was cooked to order nicely and all veggie toppings were fresh and ample. The staff is attentive, courteous, and cheerful (and cute too). The food is always done to perfection. The Landing is one of only two places in Yuma that we will go to for breakfast (Brownie's is the other). I must be getting old because I personally knew a few people in their collection of historic photos on the walls. Those always add an extra half hour to our meal. read more

With just one breakfast meal I would say 3+ mainly be chicken fried steaks are so small theses day's. And without trying other meals that's a decent score. We have been here many times, great Ambience and friendly service although lately very slow to get your food. 55 minutes to get a breakfast dish. Food only so so, over easy eggs runny. Luke warm food. Cobb salad just ok few ingredients. friends got Margaritas and said very weak pour. Ordered a draft Dos Equis and was charged $9.50 during not very Happy Hour.. my bad looking back menu did say domestic beers. Like this place so hope they pick it up! read more

Driving thru Yuma we found this great place. The Western Burger was very appealing and tasted even better. Had the cup of chili and it was delicious along with the slaw! Service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive. Had a great ambiance of aviation history and treated military and veterans with a 10% discount. Went in to eat at about 4:15 today. Walked out at about 5:10 without ever receiving a single item of food. The dining room was closed, so we sat in the bar area in the booth. There was one other couple in the restaurant and a party of 40 people. After our chips and salsa didn't arrive within 25 minutes, I asked the waiter if we were better off leaving and basically said yes. if your restaurant can only handle one party and can't accommodate other guests, you might as well close the restaurant and host a private party. This place has a really great atmosphere. It's friendly and welcoming. Drinks are always cold and the food is amazing. Our server Jessica, at the bar, was attentive and very informative when it came to the menu items. And she literally made the best Cheladas/Chabelas of all time. GOATED. The Yuma Landing bar & Grill is my go-to when I'm hungry and don't know what I want. They have a wide variety of foods and everything is absolutely delicious. The restaurant is spacious and always clean and the staff is always pleasant and easy going. I asked what they recommended and they said the Crash Landing. I asked for ot to be lettuce-wrapped and without skipping a beat my order was in. The burger was juicy and the sauteed mushrooms gave it a zing that made the meal a memorable one. Hope springs eternal! Yet again the signage restricts diners from entering until some assigned entity arrives at an undisclosed time to seat me. After at least two minutes I checked the time. Two minutes later the "person in charge" arrived and miraculously was able to hand me off to someone who ushured me into the spacious dining room. Great throngs of diners from a tour bus is what I expected. There were no more than five vehicles in the parking lot afterall. No, I was wrong. Two other diners. That's it! I waited at least 4-5 minutes for 1 of sixteen available tables. Again once when my coffee cup was empty it was refilled... with tepid coffee!!! How does this happen to me twice? (See other reviews) Why bother to come back? The servers are personable, professional and attentive! The menu offers a nice array to please and the items always arrive nicely prepared and fresh! Seating is comfortable and in great condition. Everything is clean and the music is not too loud! We've taken visitors here, it's one of our top go to options for eating here in Yuma! Came here with a huge group and was well taken care of, we had two toddlers with us and staff was very accommodating. Sad I didn't get the name of our waitress but she was a delight. Everybody seemed to have like their food, I ordered the avocado toast and was overall satisfied. One of the dinning areas had a museum like display of historical photos which was nice to look at while waiting for our food. They even have a cheaply priced vintage lottery machine i won $10 back on. I'll definitely be back when I'm hungry and feeling lucky again. read more

Been going to the Landing for several years on special occasions and have been ok. Not this year Easter!! Without a doubt one of the worst meals I have been served in 23 years in Yuma. Advertised as an Easter special, ham dinner for $17.99. the waiter really didn't know anything about it but took our order. It came a few cold carrots a blob of potatoes with a scarcity of gravy and 2 thin half pieces of precut dried out ham. HORRIBLE!!! No soup or salad, no bun or roll, nothing to make it looks appealing. Waiter never checked drinks or if anything is required. Really question if ever going back. Only customers at 1 table at 2 pm on Easter Sunday should have been a clue. read more

So I've been coming here for years for breakfast, and I always bring in my cup of coffee with me, basically because I like it better than theirs and I don't like wasting mine cuz it's pricey. Well today I came in for breakfast and was told I couldn't bring in my coffee by a waitress. When I spoke to Mandy, the "supervisor" she backed it up. I've been to Yuma Landing three times. The first two visits were unremarkable but our return visit on 3-16-24 was memorable for all the wrong reasons. There were a couple small errors on orders which were corrected by the wait staff. What made this visit memorable was an unwillingness to reheat an order by a confrontational "kitchen manager" who presented in an aggressive and threatening manner. It's been several weeks since that visit and I still can't believe what I witnessed. Place looked a bit questionable from the exterior, but I was badly in need of a break from driving and saw it had decent reviews as I was walking in. Entry was kind of confusing but I pressed on and was warmly greeted when we finally arrived at the wait stand. Place had a lot of decorative history, particularly in regard to aviation. Staff was attentive and professional. Food simple but really excellently prepared! Had a cheeseburger- bun was nicely toasted and salad came with excellent housemade ranch. We stayed next door at the Coronado Motel and this was our free breakfast. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and when someone says free breakfast to me I immediately think of cold cereal and stale coffee. I was pleasantly surprised. The decor of this restaurant needs some serious work but... the server/hostess/all the things Mandy made up for it. She was super on top of my coffee and everything else happening for that manner. First time visit... from the moment my family of six walked in, to the time we paid our check, the service and food was outstanding. At first glance it doesn't seem like much, but once you enter, your eyes take notice of the history museum. The waitress/bar tender gave excellent recommendations and service. Her cheerful attitude made our dinner that much better. Now, as for the food, we ordered the B52 burger, Arizona double burger with Jalapeño's, chimichanga, and grilled chicken breast with broccoli. Bit of a 2-part review: My first experience was at the bar the evening of our stay at the Coronado. The bar is spacious, bar seating is a good-sized wraparound with a full variety of drinks. If Monique is tending, you're in for a great experience. She's vivacious, friendly and engaging with lots of energy and personality. There was a live band on our Saturday evening visit, a good mix of Mexican and Anglo fare. Not sure of the band's name, but they rocked. The following morning before checking out we stopped in at the restaurant portion to check out breakfast. It's complementary with your stay at the Coronado. The menu is fixed, but you'll not be disappointed with the several choices of good, hearty breakfast fare. The staff here, too, is welcoming, free with a smile and make the experience great. Throughout the restaurant and bar you'll find a treasure trove of historical photos and memorabilia from Yuma's surprisingly rich history, from aviation to agriculture, rail & mining. Model airplanes adorn the ceiling, showcases and photographs, along with railroad memorabilia. Do yourself a favor and take a little time to appreciate it all. If you take the leap and venture away from the boring if convenient freeway "amenities" most use as they just pass through on the way to somewhere else, you'll be surprised at what you can discover here. Food was questionable! My wife had the fish and one of the filets was not done. I had the fajitas and was surprised that it was served not sizzling like they usually are.
