I ran the 5K it was a great run through the community and back to the Y. I did not hang around for the 10AM ceremony but I walked around and checked out the vendors. Great food, music and people. I did check out the entrance of the Y during check in yesterday but didn't do a full tour. From what I observed, it's well maintained. Equipment, Restrooms and lobby were clean. I can say they will need a new building soon as the town is growing . I plan to run next year for the same race and possibly other races throughout the year.

However, the showers and restrooms are the cleanest of any Y I have ever been in (and I've seen quite a few) the gym area is clean, they have a good selection of equipment which is well maintained, and have plenty of classes. The gym floor/cardio area is never too crowded. The staff are friendly and polite, and I have been very pleased with the quality of their childcare. A solid 4 out of 5 stars!

I explained that I wanted to ensure he was not exhibiting any symptoms of illness before bringing him into daycare, to avoid any risk of exposing other children and staff. Upon arrival, I was told that my son late entry had disrupted the classroom routine. I acknowledged their concern but explained that my decision was based on a valid health consideration. Despite my explanation, Ms. Laura proceeded to make several inappropriate remarks. She stated that my son's need for additional care was due to his disabilities, implying that this made him an inconvenience to both herself and the classroom teacher. She further claimed that she had missed her lunch because she was assisting with feeding in my son's classroom. These statements were discriminatory, unprofessional, and contrary to the principles of inclusivity and equal treatment expected of a licensed childcare provider. Later that same day, I was informed that my son was being removed from the program. This decision appears to be directly connected to my earlier concerns and the accommodations my son requires, which constitutes discrimination Laura may convince you to enroll your child, but doing so would be a serious mistake. She conducts herself unprofessionally, and I regret not recognizing the warning signs sooner. If you truly value your children's well-being, I strongly urge you NOT to enroll them here. Update- I was informed via phone call after hours that my son could not return to the program--without any prior warnings--another clear sign of retaliation based on my feedback. In addition, my 3-year-old daughter attended a single test day because the PRE-K 3 class lacked a structured curriculum. I expressed my disappointment, and Ms. Laura and I agreed my daughter could try the daycare for a day to see if it was a good fit. However, during the same call in which I was told my son could no longer attend, I was also informed that they intended to charge me two weeks' tuition. I had to correct Ms. Laura and another representative, reminding them that I had already paid $50 for the test day. This was yet another attempt by the establishment to retaliate against me for sharing my honest feedback. Updated: The owner's reply below is a clear attempt to deflect from the real issue. My child was discriminated against because of his disability. After just one day of arriving after 9 a.m. due to a possible illness, I was told my son could no longer return--without any prior warning or history of issues. Here's the full timeline: * Monday: My son arrived at 8:00 a.m., but I was informed his teacher would not arrive until 8:30 a.m. I chose to stay until she arrived because otherwise my son--who is not walking--would have been placed in a room with older children, which is unsafe. * Tuesday: I arrived at 8:30 a.m. to ensure his teacher was present before leaving him. * Wednesday & Thursday: My son had therapy appointments, which had been discussed and disclosed before enrollment, so he arrived after 11:00 a.m. both days. * Friday: My son arrived later than usual due to a possible illness. Once I confirmed he was well, I brought him to school. Then eventually someone informed me that the director had recently stepped out to make a run and would be back shortly. She came back about 10-12 minutes later with Dunkin Donuts in tow and walked right past me when she arrived. She then popped her head out and said she'd be right with me. When she finally came back she just began speaking--no introduction or anything. All in all I wouldn't send my kid here renovations definitely need to happen, the professionalism isn't there, and it seems disorganized.

I had a few issues that I addressed while there. My daughter came home with a soaked pull-up. I mean completely soaked as if she sat in a pool of urine all day and was never changed. She ended up with a horrible diaper rash from it. Another situation which is the one that ended her childcare was when she came home with two fingers burned and blistered. Keep in mind she was at daycare a full day on both days. When addressed I was asked did I have a flat iron. Smh I have a recording showing I didn't use one myself when I left home the day before and the day off. Both situations they advised that they would investigate and made excuses for. Both times there was an excuse, apology and promise nothing else would happen. Now granted the first incident they provided a week free. When there was an error with my payment taking the amount twice and when my child kept getting sick every other week because her classmates stayed sick they provide a free week. Oooh let's not forget when they sent her home with feces all up her back and coming out of her pull-up. I had to toss out her entire car seat as I didn't catch it when she got into the car. Yet we only drove straight up the street to the store from childcare that day. I've offered to assist with assisting with observation and operational outlines of better instructions of care as that's what I'd do for a living. I tried giving the benefit of the doubt as everywhere childcare has been unacceptable. But my three year old partially non verbal (preemie) came home with burned fingers was my last straw. I called bright from the start in which based off the convo I KNEW she could not go back. Now it has placed me in a bind with work and childcare as this was another inconvenience. But because they don't know how she was burned I have a fear now of her going to child care because NOBODY could tell me what happened NOR did the cameras record during class hours. We both reported to bright from the start what happened. Deep down I'm disgusted. As they have a few gems at the facility. But cover up a lot of what happens. To include not paying attention to the children when coming out of the bathroom naked or allowing them to walk around with undies on. How do I know because I reported it before and provided an extra pair of my daughters pants because a child didn't have on any and the teacher thought it was oAt this point she is no longer in childcare and has not returned since we noticed the finger burns.

I called corporate and have yet to receive a single call from the franchise owner, despite making it very clear that I wanted to speak with her. I have also filed a claim with the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning regarding this situation. If you're okay with being lied to, paying money for your child to be repeatedly hurt, and not even receiving a call from the owner to pretend she cares, this is the school for you.

My daughter and mostly my grandbaby love the people here. I also the the fact that they speak Spanish to the children as well. Teaching the children at an early stage of life another language is the best. The facility is clean, no odors everything is in order. Now, the outside is not so pleasing to look at, but that's not my focus. I just had to mention it because so people look at things like that. The staff, the professionalism and the upkeep of the inside is what counts for me. Now, I only have one con about the facility. I wish they would had a camera buzzer for the front door. I did see that theynmight have had thatbin place before, but i guess the bell doesn't work. With that they need to check to see people before allowing them to come inside the building. Then someone can buzz them in. Hopefully, the owner or manager will see this review and make the necessary adjustments for that. But other than that I haven't been disappointed at all.
