I was very frustrated with the pest control service I was using. When they discovered possible rodent issues, I wanted to have them do an extrusion (to keep small animals from getting into the attic) and also remove and re-do the attic insulation. They then quoted an extremely high price. So I asked a contractor friend, who seems to know ALL of the best companies when it comes to anything to do with home construction, maintenance and services. He swore by Breda. It turned out that their quote was almost half what the other quote was, and the person I spoke with in the office was helpful and seemed extremely knowledgable. She definitely did not just answer phones and direct calls. Ethan, Lil Mike and Sherwin were the team that came out to do the extrusion and insulation removal, and they did an exceptional job. Ethan took the time to explain everything that they did and were planning to do (the job is done over about a one month period since it involves first cleaning out and then trapping any rodents, as well as sealing up the attic from future pests, and then finally replacing the insulation) They were also very flexible to work with and extremely good-natured. Breda only asks you to pay for the service as it is provided, which is nice. I just fired my other company completely. I would rather have Breda handle the ongoing maintenance pest jobs like termites and such. They know what they are doing, they do it well, and their prices are very competitive. read more

We called Breda Pest Management after our existing company decided not to service interior spaces. We are so glad we did. William Y. came out to do the initial visit and talk to us about services offered. William was professional yet very kind, and he answered all of our questions. William came back for the pest service and completed it with a smile. William explained what chemicals (natural also) were being used and where. (We have rambunctious Jack Russells that get into weird spaces chasing bugs, so we were very concerned about any chemicals. He assured us that being natural chemicals once dry they are harmless to pets. ) Our termite techs did a stellar job too. They cleaned up leaves and hauled them away. They did the drill, fill, plug system for the termites, now we won't have to look at ugly "plug" systems. The techs cleaned up behind themselves, they even blew off our driveway ! I don't know where to start with Breda because they are hands down amazing! Our family had a dead rodent somewhere within our house and we couldn't find it. On top of that we had squirrels in our attic (not cool!). Their exclusion service is great but even more than that is that we had 3 different visits so far and there is more follow-up included just to make sure rodents are staying the heck out. So far so good! Every visit the customer service and insight was incredible. I told Michael yesterday that the service you guys provide is rare, in terms of making sure the job is done and done right and thoroughly explained. He said "I love what I do. I love my job and it provides for my family and I like helping people out." He even patched up a little leak we had in our roof that was dripping onto our bedroom. Not part of the job but since he could do it, he did. For me, I will not use anyone other than Breda. All I can say is - if you have a rodent problem, call Tootie Stepp at Breda and ask her to send Mike Schultz out. I'm updating the review I posted on 4/2/19 regarding the service I received from Breda Pest Management. Kenny contacted me and was very willing to listen to the issues I experienced. He was very helpful with providing possibilities of what may have caused the flooding to occur in my garage and on the outside of my home. He stated that the problem was more than likely a burst pipe due to the fluctuating temperatures. The plumber that came to my home confirmed there was a burst pipe in the garage wall. Also, to ease my concern about the termite treatment provided, Kenny offered to have another team come out to my home. I thought I'd try TrustDale to find a wildlife exclusion system company; Breda is listed. After giving me a quote, I asked Jason Davis for references. He said Breda doesn't give references and tried to reassure me that Breda is a TrustDale certified company. That didn't reassure me since the TrustDale partners (i.e. certified companies) pay for advertising by TrustDale and TrustDale has had to discontinue prior endorsements of some companies, despite their 7-step process. I pressed for references. Jason said he'd ask Matt Breda about providing references. I called the office to ask about getting references and the receptionist confirmed that Breda doesn't provide references but would let Matt know of my request. No response, until I sent an email to Breda that the BBB has a B- rating for them for not responding. After Matt explained he couldn't discuss the case and his feelings about BBB, I said I understood and I only take my own assessments from talking to references, not from reviews or recommendations. His response was that he relies upon TrustDale and Dave Baker recommendation of Breda. Refusing to provide references because it's a TrustDale certified company is a red flag for me and chose not to continue with Breda. read more

I bought my house in 2008 and tried them due to their testimonials and years they've been in business. There were several other competitors that gave me quotes and being a new homeowner, I wanted someone cheap and reliable, especially since my home had pest problems in the past. I really scrutinized them in the first few months to ensure I was getting a good deal, and man did they live up to the expectations I'd heard in those testimonials.... I always have the same person servicing my home and they usually arrive on time, but if they don't, they call me to make sure I'm ok with them being late. (OMG!) In case this sounds like a "fake" post, read my other posts on docs and mechanics - I don't play around. When I find a good company that does what they're supposed to, I give a good f-ing review! We have an enormous house and 2 detached garages on acreage, all of which had various critters living in them. Breda cleaned out all the droppings, cleaned up the spoiled insulation and made sure to enclose all the openings that allow them to get inside. We've had to call to have them come back a couple of times and they've been extremely responsive, making sure we're critter free each time. Would highly recommend them. I VENT, I MOVE ON! At least that was the intent. However, this time things went left because the matter was mishandled. As I stated in my previous review, Kenny was very gracious with helping me to sort through things and get an accurate understanding of what was going on. If you are having a problem with your business or service, just contact the office directly because had I not done that, I would never have known that there was misinformation floating around and the guy writing under Kenny's account was not Kenny. So, today they sent John out to service my home. Here is what I do like about Breda: the guys that they send are usually very nice, articulate and polite. The previous guy they sent out was equally polite but obviously not accustomed to handling strong personalities. I appreciate seeing the guys in full uniform so that I have peace of mind. John communicated well about his process and when he was done, I signed a new form. It was a thorough description of my services along with a drawing of my property clearly identifying the areas that had been treated. I received a copy for my file. Cool! Yes, Breda got a spanking but we're still cool. I just need them to know that If they think they have a problem, contact me directly. We had an issue with some of the work left behind after Breda had sealed off the attic to the squirrels. The Breda team that sealed the attic did a great job and have been back a couple of times to make sure that there was no squirrel activity. They were prompt and professional. We did have an issue with a small area near our front door that needed to have a more finished look to it, being that it was at the front door. After sending photos and after speaking with Matt, he had one of his guys, Frank, come over to "finish" the area we were not happy with. I hired Breda Pest Management to take care of squirrels. They came out inspected the property and we agreed on a deal.The first crew came out to seal the roof and set traps. The problem was that they had a senior crew member and 2 young guys. Well the young guys did not do what they were supposed to do. We gained some more squirrels because of the problem. I called not to happy of course and they came out right away saw the problem and remedied it. They sent a crew who really cared and solved the problem. They left the traps in and have sent crews out 3 more times to make sure we were taken care of. I respect the fact that they owned up to their mistake, apologized and worked with a passion to fix it.
