TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!! I would NEVER do business with this company if I wasn't forced too! Unfortunately they are the only ones in the valley that offer the clothes my kid needs for his school uniform. Please someone else open a business offering school uniforms!! I've placed a few orders with Educational Outfitters so far and the process has gone smoothly every time. The first order I placed was for Junior League of Boise and the shirts looked great and were delivered within the timeline requested. The next two orders were for a new business. We got exceptional service with helping select items, digitizing the logo, and helping select the colors for the embroidery. Love that they even have items in the store that you can select and not have to wait for them to ship it out. Should NOT be in business but in a rubber room! They over charged me - said they would return the money - NEVE DID! They never filled my order - said 3 times it would be done in 3 days! 35 day later NOTHING! The are IDIOTS! - took literally 15 min. to check out - poor person in the other line - she started her order 10 min before me and was still there after me! asked my 8 times for my phone number; asked me 11 times if it was a boy's shirt! Then NEVER answer their phone - it goes to voicemail and they never call back! One employee asked if she could help, I said yes, she gave ma a look like I had 4 heads and went into the back and was never seen again! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! We ordered in June . After several emails and messages for an update, Sept 14th we still had not gotten all our items. I had to go into the Boise store. They pulled the grey sweaters off the shelf and said they would have them embroidered and mail them to me..... sept 21st we received a package with 2 red polos. No sweaters. I emailed the owner who replied she would look into this and we have never heard back. We ordered 2 black polo 2 grey polo 2 sweaters and we received 2 black polo 4 red polo. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I hope our school changes their supplier for next year because this has been a terrible experience. read more

Although there have been supply chain disruptions, Educational Outfitters has been great to work with on a personal level. Just before and after the school year began, it was very difficult to reach someone by phone or internet, but I can assume they were inundated with calls. The entire staff has acted graciously with each encounter, and they were more than accommodating when I went into the store, helping me piece together optional items I could use. As it is with most services in our growing community, we're at a point where it's hard to keep up with demand, but their commitment to friendly service and producing a quality product is evident. read more

Order sent in months ago. They had no info on when my item would arrive just "before school" they finally send me my order and it's incomplete... and they said they did that to most people. How is it our fault they are not prepared to handle a large order from a new school. They were told what to expect and just push blame on to anyone else first and last time I place a order with them... Had to order from another company to get my order and guess what. 3 days total from Placing my order at night to get my stuff.... the material is so cheep eo uses my kids jumpers hem Is already comming . We are still waiting for a skirt and jacket we ordered in September. I have called multiple times and haven't heard anything. The owner is incredibly nice when we have spoken in the past, now we just need our clothing. Their business has grown considerably and they need a bigger store. Wish I could leave less than one star. My mother took my son into the store to be fitted and asked if items could be placed on hold for two days until I could make it into the store. We physically went into the store where customers were standing in line to pay and not one person was rung up in the 30-minutes we were there, nor did anyone leave the store during that time. When we walked in it was chaos! After about ten minutes someone did ask us what we needed, I explained to her and she walked away without an explanation. She never came back. I saw the same thing happen with several other customers. We left after 30-minutes and were never assisted. I attempted to go online but they don't have my son's size listed and they don't answer their business phone and their voicemail is full. My mom again returned to the store a few days later and was told that they do not hold anything without payment, and she should have never been told that they would hold the items. At this time, she paid for the clothing which was a few weeks before the beginning of school. We are still waiting and I had to purchase other clothing (school colors) for my son. So not only did I have to pay for uniforms that I have not received almost a month after ordering them but I also had to purchase clothing to get him by. I again have tried to call the store but I either have to leave a message or their voicemail box is full. My son's school has chosen this business as our uniform supplier but if I had a choice to frequent a business, I would not opt to give my business to this store. read more

Observation of today's consumer is frightening! No room for error, no understanding, no offer of help! Some of today's consumers fall ignorant to what reality of running a business entails. It is unfortunate that the attitude has shifted from gratitude to, "Get me my stuff and get it now or I will post a horrible review all over social media". I can guarantee that Educational Outfitters has made mistakes. HUMANS own and operate Educational Outfitters. It would make sense that the rise in charter schools, and private schools in the area have put a significant load on this company as well as the manufacturers. There isn't one principal, knowing the challenges the consumer and vendor were battling that would turn away a student from school attendance because of the uniform not being available. There are so many larger fish to fry and patience and understanding is a virtue. While I too waited for my sons uniform, rationally Educational Outfitters had already submitted the order but they too, were waiting on the manufacturer. I discovered others in my school (opening year) were waiting on some items as well. I can't imagine what a Vendor commits to when they take on a grass roots school.
