Rick, the owner, fixed it for me right there on the spot at a reasonable price. He had it figured out and completed within 25 minutes. On top of it he is a really good guy. He did some other adjustments on the guitar as well at no charge. I told him I have an older amp that is failing, sounds cuts out, and he told me bring it down the next day, I also brought my Gibson SG as the switch sometimes does not want to work right. He fixed the guitar with me there in no time flat, also did some adjustments and I left the amp with him. Bottom line Rick, the owner is a solid person. He knows how to fix gear and there is all kinds of interesting gear in his store. This is NOT a Big Box store. This is a good local independent music shop where you work directly with the owner. I will use Rick anytime I have an issue with my instruments or to buy special gear as he has treated me right.

I recently bought a sousaphone from Borodi music (nikkibor123456 on ebay) that was suppose to be this beautiful fully rebuilt conn 22k fiberglass with the brass 4th branch. pictures looked good and I was pumped. when I received the instrument I had a conn 22k sousaphone BUT it was NOT the one I bought. it had the fiberglass 4rt branc and had ugly cracks in the bell, 4th and 5th branch, sticking valves and repairs that were probably made with eyes closed (bell was not round anymore). The Instrument was dirty as hell inside and was not close to the description. I tried to communicate with Borodi on ebay and it was close to immpossible, he was sorry at first and offered some refund but gave no answers of why I did not get the instrument that I pay'd for. after that I heard little to nothing from him and I sent A LOT of messages. I do NOT recommend this company at all and George Borodi if this is the best you can do find another job because you are not good at this one.

I have purchased many instruments through ebay and I have had poor and outstanding experiences. My best experience was with Borodi music and I have bought a few, and plan to buy more in the future. Totally affordable, super convenient location and flexible session times. Plus Deana Lucille is completely plugged in to the local school programs so she knows what her students are focusing on in their music classes. I highly recommend The Musical Schoolhouse...even if your kid is simply curious about learning an instrument...go for it!!
