Even though they are in a temporary location that doesn't really have a showroom, if you see anything on their website, you want to play, they will happily retrieve the instrument for you and let you try it out. Been looking for months for a store that has both fender tele ultra and Richie kotzen model. Kotzen is said to have a large neck and the ultra introduces a D profile. No way to compare online. Took road trip to Cleveland and was actually going to take detour to sweetwater on way back since they have the kotzen model but not ultra right now. Found this gem of a shop and it had both models!!!! Probably only store in US right now. Brent the salesperson was very helpful, knowledgeable and low key. Definitely recommend. read more

Guitar Riot is the best guitar store in NE Ohio - if not the best between here and Chicago. I love the place, their selection and the expertise the guys have. I can't imagine buying guitars, amps or guitar gear anywhere else. In the times of Covid you have to make an appointment which is no big deal. How do I know what you have if I cant enter your store to see what you have. I was in the market for a Fender Custom Shop electric guitar and talking with several online sellers who had the limited edition model I wanted. In the end Brent at Guitar Riot was far and away the best to deal with, and that is where I bought my instrument. He is knowledgeable about the nuances of the model, extremely responsive in getting back to me in providing details and had no issues sending some additional pictures to help explain, when I asked about some visual details. I am pretty picky about intonation and how I prefer my instruments to be set up: the guitar shipped out and arrived quickly, and when it arrived, Guitar Riot had set it up exactly as I had asked. Guitar Riot has the best selection of premium guitars. If you want a killer boutique guitar or amp, this is the place to shop.

It is great to see a "real" players shop in cleveland. We no have some voids filled with pro services in town and Guitar Riot is a nice addition. However, do not assume you are going to find your next 500.00 MIM strat here, of course there is a little cork sniffing going on, but that comes with the teritory. As they build a reputation I really hope they can make this shop work and broaden the lines. I wish these guys all the best! read more
