Can HIGHLY recommend going with this company. We had a complex project in multiple parts of the house. The biggest part was to undo the work that a previous contractor did which was totally unprofessional and incomplete. They did an amazing job with that bigger project and made quick work of the other, smaller tasks too. Even more important, they worked really clean and were super flexible: we scheduled our project when our family traveling over the holidays. This cut our project time down, since they didn't need to take down and put up plastic sheeting every day. They were able to work with our schedule, and we came back and the house was super clean, no dust or paint splatters. Wish we'd gone with them in the first place. Highly recommend these folks. A very big undertaking in a unique, old house where the initial ask was to take down the drop ceiling, install a new ceiling, and paint. They were very accommodating with a last minute ask of demo and replacing/ reconstructing drywall to better accommodate cabinetry, found a few areas where the previous owners cut corners (thereby exposing safety risks) and addressed them! Previously, the main bedroom area looked sad (like a bed in an old office because of the dropped ceiling) now this room is so beautiful, I feel the house has been significantly upgraded, and I am so proud to walk people through this area. read more

They fixed my ceilings in multiple rooms that occurred from a water back-up, and while they were there, we figured we'd get most of the house painted since they'd already bee doing the set up work. 1) The estimate. Ryan (owner) spent an hour (maybe longer) using his iPad to provide a VERY detailed estimate. This gave me way more confidence then other estimates, who walked around for 5 minutes and jotted down a couple notes. He was able to send me the estimate via email in the spot. 2) The project. We had 3 ceilings drywalled and a stairwell ceiling drywalled and then completely painted. Brian was the project leader in this job. He was excellent! Our home is very old (over 100 years) with many original features still intact. Brian was able to easily troubleshoot this old house and make it look amazing! To be as brief as possible yet thorough, fair and transparent, I'll open by saying the employees that performed the work, Andrew and Matt, were professional and polite, always on time and respectful of our home. They were at an unknowing disadvantage from the start as the estimator, Ken, significantly underbid our job on both time and money, later discovered by the owner Ryan, which caused the work to suffer as the workers were rushed to get done "on time." Ryan stopped by near the suspected end of the job to get feedback and was not receptive when I showed him that the amount of paint applied did not completely cover the old color in certain areas, which was contested and confirmed by the painters who stated they would apply another coat to those areas. The workers chose to approach painting 5 sets of newly installed unfinished wood closet doors and 4 stained room doors in a different manner than described initially and as explained by the estimator. These doors became a major point of contention and after three attempts to fix them on two different days beyond the estimated timeframe, Andrew called me to say they were cleaning up to leave ("I'm not going to be happy with how they look so I know you won't be happy" in his words), while leaving some doors sanded down and requiring paint and others untouched with no attempt made to make them satisfactory. Essentially, walking off the job. Ultimately, with unfinished, unsatisfactory work left on the table, the owner Ryan and I cut ties and the job sits incomplete with the remaining balance due wiped clean. The star rating reflects the positive interactions and attitudes of Andrew and Ryan and the willingness to attempt to fix mistakes. read more

We had a plumbing leak and ended up with two holes cut into our dining room wall, so we hired Patch and Paint Pros to repair the wall (plaster) and paint. They gave us an estimate for the job and then, after we agreed to the work, explained that the estimate came out too high and lowered the amount the job would cost! Very honest business to work with, saving us a couple hundred dollars from what we initially thought. Andrew did the plaster repair and painting. He is really nice and very professional. Andrew did a great job with the plaster repair and painting -- doing his best to minimize the dust from sanding that could have taken over the whole first floor of the house, covered everything in the room with drop cloths, and did a pretty thorough clean-up after everything was finished. The wall looks better than it did before the plumbing issues began! We're in an old house so I'm sure this is not the last time we'll need this type of work done.
