Everything precisely measured and cut -- more than I ever expected to be done to protect the clock. When the clock arrived (safely--of course) to FL, the movers hired another man to uncrate the clock and get it working again. Even the man in FL who uncrated it commented about the beauty of the crates! He even asked if I would mind if he took the wood that was used to build the crates (with the thought of reusing it the next time he was called to make a crate for a customer who is moving something delicate). I thought that was the ultimate compliment to Shawn: that another woodworker recognized the workmanship that went into building the crates. In fact, in my review I stated that all I asked for was the curtesy to let me know you'd decided you were no longer interested in the job. I left a voicemail, asking if you'd decided not to do it. It would not have required you to drop anything to take less than 30 seconds to reply to the text I had sent with the photos and say you were no longer interested. That would have demonstrated a level of professionalism and common courtesy that should be a cornerstone of your business. Instead, you decide to respond to this review three years later with a passive-aggressive reply that only serves to make you look incredibly unprofessional. No part of my review was unreasonable, and the resolution that I said I hoped for was completely fair. Sending a text message would not have endangered your life or your health, but it would have gone a long way to showing that you're a decent person who cares about doing right by people, even when you aren't going to take the job.

Our GE double wall oven was acting up and he took the top electronic cover off and checked the wires. He tested all of the possible error codes to check for issues and found none. He tested the broiler, oven temps and convection fans to ensure all was working okay. This monstrosity was attached to a nice small masonry porch and covered a solid concrete staircase leading into the yard. The previous owners of our house used the area under the deck as a drop zone for junk like old coolers. In a day and a half, he tore down the deck, and removed and hauled away about two tons of debris. In addition, he installed two very nice, high-quality railings on the cement stairs.
