After receiving quotes from two other companies for home insurance, I felt sick to my stomach. These were both companies that offer supposed discounts through my employer too. Once I contacted State Farm, I felt so much better. I sent a few e-mails back and forth with Clark. He provided two quotes, one for home insurance, and the second for bundling our auto and home insurance. BOTH quotes beat the other companies by hundreds of dollars. I was able to make an appointment to meet with Clark the same day at the Montgomery office. Office hours are until 5:00 p.m., but they'll schedule an appointment to meet with you later if needed. When I arrived at the office, I also met Mark who is just as friendly and welcoming as Clark. Clark walked me through the quotes and explained everything perfectly. I left this insurance office feeling MUCH better about my yearly rates and with a great impression of State Farm's services.

I offered another State issued ID with the correct address. The clerk tried to tell me that a FOID card is not issued by a state entity. I argued that it is issued by the state police, and she told me that it is issued by "FOID" (). She told me she could accept a lease, Nicor bill or ComEd bill. I have ComEd, but the bill is in my maiden name. We don't have Nicor- we use oil heat. I own the house, but a mortgage statement wasn't good enough for her. The seller had put the date in the day/month/year format, which most countries outside of the US do. Even so, this was also unacceptable. I had another vehicle titled at an insurance agency in Dekalb with zero problems. I will be headed there again today. I'm sorry I wasted my time at the Currency Exchange.

However, upon leaving I remembered that I needed to get another money order. I went back & the woman said very rudely, "What do you want?". I told her that I needed to get another money order. The very nice black woman asked me to go to her to complete my transaction. Thankfully, Walmart offers the same service. Walmart is more expensive, but I am most definitely willing to pay more $ and never frequent the Currency Exchange again. I most definitely feel more welcome at Walmart than at this Currency Exchange.
