I felt like i was getting the bum's rush when i asked specific questions which is not a good feeling. I now have Home, Auto, and Umbrella policies through their excellent brokerage and they review the coverage to see if they can save me more money yearly. They beat all the insurance policies I had in place before finding them. I had several questions about various options and they did a great job of comparing them and giving me competing quotes so I could make the best choices.

This was one of the most frustrating insurance experiences I have ever had…read more Kris Jackson at ProStar provided incorrect information and showed a complete lack of ownership during an already stressful situation. I was told my assigned agent was out of office for the holiday and that nothing could be done. However, that agent's voicemail clearly stated to press 1 to be connected to another agent, which I did. The alternate agent immediately confirmed that what Kris told me was incorrect. From there, I was forced to do the work myself. I personally called the policy department to remove our totaled vehicle from the policy. The representative I spoke with even stated that this was the agent's responsibility, but since it was not being handled, they would take care of it for me. That should never happen. When you are dealing with a total loss, you should not have to fact check your agent, chase down departments, and resolve issues on your own. I do not recommend ProStar if you are involved in an accident. Be prepared to handle everything yourself, because this office will not proactively help you. I dropped ProStar immediately after this experience. For comparison, I switched to Robert Pfarr at Allstate and the difference is night and day in terms of customer care, responsiveness, and knowledge. His team has been wonderful. I would not recommend ProStar to anyone, even as a last resort.

To say the least I was extremely disappointed in their customer service, it is non existent. I was originally with Shinstrom agency in Kirkland. We have always had excellent customer service. I did with HUB International when it was in Kirkland. Now customer service is not something that happens with them I am now looking for a new agent or agency somewhere else. Very sad indeed that a business can no longer care about their clients and obviously still want to keep them. Its very wrong.
