I was referred to Tara by my girlfriend. My mortgage company was not being helpful with porting my mortgage, and my previous mortgage broker could not seem to get me a decent rate. I found out during my first conversation with Tara that she is forthright, honest, tough, hardworking and loves a challenge. I told her that I really liked the broker I had, that he had worked hard, etc. Tara asked me what rate she needed to get my business, I said she needed to beat his rate by 50 basis points (half a percent), to which she replied "no problem, give me a day"! Anyway, she ended up beating it by almost 60 basis points, there was no way I could have gotten a better rate with the same criteria. To say I'm happy with the service of her and her excellent team would be a huge understatement. If I could give her 6 stars I would! I must commend the St. Albert RBC Branch for their extremely friendly staff (including tellers, receptionists, and financial advisors) and the efficient service they provide. Every time I go in I am always greeted with a smile and assisted as soon as possible. This latest visit I wanted some US Dollars and the teller was pleased to fill my request but also let me know that this service is now available from the ATMs in the lobby. This location also offers late hours on Wednesday and Thursday and is open on Saturdays. Sometimes the parking lot can be a bit crowded and you must be extra careful when backing out of a spot as it can be hard to see if there are cars approaching. I am always pleased with the service provided at this location and will continue to do my banking business here.

I used to deal with AMA insurance, but I got tired of being treated like a number and facing repeated increases despite never making a claim. I kinda felt like they just took my business for granted and had a "let it ride" attitude. I knew what I wanted from an insurance company/broker. I wanted to feel like they were ACTUALLY shopping around for me for the best deal among reputable insurance companies. I finally felt that I found that when I called ARC and spoke to their representative Tyson Lush. Tyson took a lot of time answering my inane questions. He even arranged for a conference call so that both my wife and I could talk to him without having to visit their office in person. We are both busy professionals, so we really appreciated that. Tyson is a very good listener who takes good notes. Never once did I feel any pressure from him. If anything, he would let me know the best places to look to save money. This is exactly what I was dreaming of! For example, Tyson recommended how we could save a substantial amount of money by splitting off my (newly licensed) daughter into her own policy. This was very counter-intuitive, but he was right! I'm so glad I stumbled across this company. I just hope their success doesn't change their focus on customer experience and satisfaction.
