After leaving the Ark Encounter my sister and I wanted to grab a bite in Williamstown. I hopped on Yelp and found Edwardo's Pizza and Subs. We ordered the Edwardo's Italian sub with pasta salad and split the meal. It was one of the most flavorful Italian subs I've ever tasted! Plus it had all the things I love, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato, red onion and lots of hot ham, salami and pepperoni. Bonus, the Italian dressing was fabulous and the pasta salad delicious! Although I had to pull out the tiny pieces of green pepper from the pasta as they give me indigestion;) I kind of wish we hadn't split the meal because I would have loved to have brought some home and had it later lol. But the amount of food I ate was perfect as I was full but not stuffed. The service was good too. I would absolutely eat her again if I'm in the area!

Amazing old school restaurant with great food and great service. Big appetizer list with reasonable prices.

Italian Stuffed Pizza (medium)

Whoa! Totally delicious stuffed pizza! We had a medium stuffed pizza with ham, pepperoni, onions, & mushrooms. It was amazing!! This is definitely a spot where locals come for good pizza & calzones plus other Italian food. Their menu had a ton of appetizers & sandwiches, too. Great stop for pizza!

Edwardo's pizza was a great find in Williamstown, KY, near the ARK Encounter. A cozy, Italian environment that served great food! We were there twice, two days apart. First time we had Edwardo's Special Pizza that had multiple meat and veggy toppings, then covered with cheese. The blended taste was delicious. The second time we had what is pictured below, an authentic Italian spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs. My wife had Edwardo's Baked Spaghetti that had spaghetti covered with pizza toppings and loads of cheese, just great! Service was also solid with four or more high school age girls taking orders. Our waitress was very knowledgable and helped us select our meals. Edwardo's is a one of a kind, locally owned Italian Restaurant, where the owner works on the premises. Wonderful food, ambiance and service, that provided us with two great dinners during our stay! THE BEST!

The roommates and I went out for pizza, and we had a good time. Service was good and friendly - multiple people stopped by our table to ask how the food was. Our drinks were always refilled promptly. We also split a Medium Stuffed Pizza between the three of us. If we hadn't ordered anything else, I might try doing that with a Large next time. I had never had a stuffed pizza before - two out of three of us really liked it. It definitely had enough sauce and cheese (I was worried it might be too dry). We ordered it with chicken, sausage, pepperoni, and ham. I might try a veggie or pineapple next time to up the flavor, but we liked it. Their sauce is a little sweeter than I am used to - I put some parmesan cheese and salt on top to balance it out a little. Wings were fantastic. This is the place to get wings in Williamstown or Dry Ridge. They were meaty wings, and the Boom Boom sauce is a fantastic flavor. The guy who wasn't thrilled with the stuffed pizza couldn't stop talking about the wings. He said 5 stars for the wings, 3 stars for the pizza. I'd say the stuffed pizza was a four - never had it, and it was definitely filling and delicious! We went in around 7pm and it felt like that's when families were leaving - but the place was somewhat busy for a Wednesday evening. I imagine the Ark traffic has a lot to do with how busy they can get during tourist season - but our waitress was friendly and attentive. We'll be back as we're local and this is way better than an Italian chain.

The service has been slipping, the food hasn't been up to par either. Today we stopped by for a late lunch/early supper and there was only one other party in the dining room. We were seated back to back in adjoining booths. I understand ergonomics and servers don't want to walk all over the building for their tables, but every party seated after us was almost in direct contact. We heard everything they said, they could follow along with our discussions, it was too much. You have dozens of tables and we're seated like lifeboats tied together after a shipwreck. The order of LaRosa's appetizer Rondos arrived with the server telling us she dropped one on the floor so the kitchen crew was going to make us another one. It arrived with our check right before we left. When ordering my wife gave our pizza order, the server asked what kind of crust. My wife said "just the regular crust like the old fashioned LaRosa's pizza." The server said "oh, hand tossed." I nodded and said I guess so. She brought us a pizza with an almost deep dish depth crust. My wife was visibly disappointed and server said "what's wrong?" My wife said "that's a thick crust. I wanted a regular pizza crust." Our server said "oh you probably wanted THIN CRUST" and that was it. She left. The manager walked by and I asked politely "excuse me, is this really a hand tossed crust?" I got a look like maybe he knew why I was asking. He said "yeah, that's what that is." So I said, "we are waiting on some rondos because our first order got....dropped?" He casually said "they're working on it" and left. We grew up going to LaRosa's in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and it was always great, and the Dry Ridge location used to be good, too. But I won't be going back. If you want LaRosa's go further North. This place is not worth a visit.

Instead, we found a restaurant conducting what appeared to be a live experiment in lowering expectations. Before anyone welcomed us, we were informed that someone "wasn't supposed to be here until 4." We then discovered they had no beer, no ice, and very little interest in pretending either was unusual. It was roughly 95 degrees outside, so naturally we asked if there was somewhere cool to sit. We were seated on the patio while the air-conditioned thrift shop--with restaurant seating--remained comfortably available to everyone except paying customers. Now let's discuss the food. We ordered mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, and two pizzas. The mozzarella sticks never arrived. The garlic bread arrived with the pizzas, suggesting the kitchen has adopted a refreshingly flexible interpretation of the word appetizer. Margo spent most of the meal trying to identify what flavor the pizza was intended to be. After several bites, the leading theory remained "none." It's surprisingly difficult to remove all personality from pizza, yet here we are. The antique shop behind the restaurant was genuinely enjoyable. Admittedly, I spent most of that visit wondering whether the building had been condemned before or after opening hours. Overall, we invested two hours of windshield time for a meal that seemed only loosely committed to being a restaurant. One star for the antique shop. One star because eventually we were fed. The hour-long drive home was, by a comfortable margin, the most satisfying part of the evening

One of the reason for it is because they have maintained the simpleness and for me sometimes less is more. A quick example is their garlic bread, Love them, why?! because its pretty much that! butter, garlic on a good bread, maybe with a little seasoning on top and done, If you get them with cheese then even better but again they make it with a moderate amount of cheese so that you can still taste the garlic bread below, not like other places that just cover everything with layers and layers of cheese, which look great but you end up with exactly that, just cheese. The employees in this spot are really nice and welcoming. Everything looked clean and they have never missed anything on the orders, which is something that drives me crazy from other places like for ex. Papa Johns which have a tendency to not give Marinara sauce with their breadstick sides and you have to end up eating them with the garlic sauce they give away with the pizza. If you are in the area, try them, they are pretty good.

Unfortunately my dad wasn't in the mood for pizza because he loves their fettuccini alfredo. So I took a quick poll from some surrounding patrons and ordered a Stromboli. (spaghetti was a close second, so I have to return for both pizza AND spaghetti!) The restaurant is large and provides lots of seating in tables or booths. I was informed on Friday and Saturday allow for some wait time to be seated. But since I went on a Tuesday afternoon we were seated right away. Our server was very nice and attentive. The dining area and pick up counter were immaculate. The menu was double sided, one side devoted to various pizza options and appetizers. The back of the menu was pasta dishes and sandwiches. There were salads and dessert options as well. Everything looked and sounded delicious. My dad's fettuccine looked great, he ordered a small size portion that looked very generous. He also had cheese and garlic breadsticks that looked wonderful. The Stromboli was excellent. It came fully loaded and had ruffles style potato chips as a side. It was an average size sandwich compared to what you might get at a subway sandwich place, but it was enough and it was very tasty. I will definitely return for pizza, when I told my neighbor we had lunch at Leono's his face lit up and he asked "did you get a pizza?!" when I said no he looked disappointed in me. I assured him it was on my list and he invited himself to go with me. Try them out- you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Not only is this dangerous, but I'm sure the health dept would not approve. The food is overpriced. We ordered cheese bread as an appetizer, not realizing it is only individual portions. We also ordered the meat pizza and a beef and cheddar sandwich. The cheese bread was a bit dry and was served with a cup of under seasoned butter. Normally breadsticks are served with marinara so we asked the waitress for some, not realizing we were going to be charged for "extra sauce." The sandwich was next to bare and lacking (as you can see in pic.) It was served with cheap chips that tasted like they hadn't been stored correctly. The pizza was ok. It tasted like the canned pizza crust from Kroger. It was under-seasoned so we added salt. In summary, I'm always happy when we try something new but do not recommend based on our experience.
