Stopped here on Saturday and bought some plants, the woman working in the greenhouse was helpful but the checkout girl was kind of rude, like she was annoyed she had to collect our money. I love Edwards Greenhouse because they have a very large selection! Whether it's trees, bushes, flowers, herbs, fruits, or veggie plants you're looking for, if it grows locally then you'll likely find it here. If they don't have it as a plant, check out the large selection of seeds they have as well. Prices aren't exactly cheap, but the quality of plants is high. Everything I have bought has grown well. It can be difficult to find someone to help you if you have a question, but once you do the staff seems very knowledgeable. They also have informational pamphlets for those plants that they have a large variety of different options for, such as tomatoes, lavender, etc, so you can read up on it and decide which kind will work best for you. read more

It's the best! I go several times every year! I love bringing one of my friends who have never been here. Expensive but great plants. So many choices, colors and great gardeners to assist you. You can order your own planter or hanging baskets! I would love it if they would teach container classes!! I've bought many plants here. I've made fairy gardens, baskets with a variety, my own hanging baskets, potted containers, and things for my flower beds. Lastly, I bought $100. worth of small indoor plants, repotted them and put them in bunches in three of my own baskets. I love this place! I'd love to work here. read more

Terrible place!!!!! DO NOT BOTHER GOING!!! Just went there this morning. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL! Not even a "hello" from any of the staff!! Many items NOT PRICED Finally I asked a guy a question and he said you need to ask the "Head Chief.". I introduced myself to the lady that owned the place and she abruptly said, "I need to water these plants - we can talk in 10 minutes." WHAT A RUDE BITCH!!! She cannot water and answer a question??? I have gotten my flowers at Edwards for many years. There are so many plants and flowers to choose from to me its like being in a candy store. The people who work there are informative about the plants and always friendly and helpful no matter how busy they are. I even found a mister I've been looking for. read more

I went there to get a Mother's Day gift for my wife with my young son. I wanted to get a nice pot with some plants and flowers and have my 5mo old son put his handprints and footprints on the pot in paint. Everybody there was amazingly accommodating and helpful and made the experience as easy as having paint on a 5mo old could possibly be. Today I went and got a picture taken in their garden with my boy, the pot and my dog and plan to give it to my wife tomorrow for her first Mother's Day. I live nearby and have gotten flowers here before but even if I move I will drive to Edwards because of their service and helpful nature. We live a very long way from Idaho. We needed a Sympathy arrangement to be taken to Horseshoe Bend, ID. I talked to Matt in the Floral Shop. He was most helpful, kind and understanding. He made excellent suggestions and promised to deliver the same day. I'm not sure they usually deliver, but he said he would make it happen. That was exceptionally meaningful to me. Pros - Large diversity of plants not easily found at other garden stores. Cons - About 1/3 of the plants I've purchased were mislabeled. I purchased 'Frontenac' grapes mislabeled as 'Glenora', 'Canadice' grapes mislabeled as 'Himrod', and several 'Gaillardia - Gobin' blanket flowers that when planted side-by-side turned out to have different growth habits and flower morphology. Mislabeled stock is especially frustrating with fruiting plants. Waiting 3 years to find out that your seedless table grape is actually a seeded wine-grape makes me skeptical about making important purchases here. read more

Oh Edwards, I really really wanted to do business with you, but I do not think you wanted my business as much. I think your greenhouse is so beautiful and your staff, when you can find one to talk to, is usually very helpful. This time was around was not so good. We are designing out entire backyard to be xeriscaped with lots of natural plants. I called and talked to a person on the phone and then came in to look at some of the plants you had available. I waited in line to talk to a lady about where I could find some of the plants or if you even had them, at first she came to help me, then ended up on the phone, then ended up helping someone else then she remembered I was still standing there and came over. After waiting for her all she said was that she couldn't help me and sent me to another section. There I found a guy walking around, I asked for his help and he said he had to help another lady and would get back to me and for me to wait there. I waited and waited and waited. Finally I started to walk around to find someone else to point me in the right direction. I found the same guy leaning on a table, looking around. I almost went up to ask him for help again, then I noticed that this whole fiasco had taken almost 1-1/2 hours! Needless to say our business will be going else ware where they are not too busy to help. read more

Last July my father-in-law passed away. We live in West Des Moines, Iowa and my husband's company is based in New York City. They sent the most BEAUTIFUL basket of plants and flowers - from Edwards. Because of traveling constraints we were unable to bring the basket home - we gave it to my husband's Aunt and Uncle who were thrilled to receive it! The rose plant bloomed until into November and is now coming back, as are most if not all the plants! This was so meaningful and to have it last is an onging remembrance of Dad! This Greenhouse is amazing. The people are so friendly and do whatever they can to help meet your needs. I am a student in high school and they donated all of the plants I needed for a project because I couldn't afford it. I would suggest this place to anyone. read more
