If you need or want help finding something in particular at this nursery the staff is more than willing to take the time and show you around. If you want to just wander around and look for yourself they are more than happy to let you alone. At this point in the year they seem to be pretty much fully stocked geared up and ready to go. Trees, small medium large. bushes evergreens perennials. I know last year I shopped around a little bit and found Arbor Farms nursery to be very competitive if not better priced. Price, selection, and how helpful they are has made this a "go to" for me.

Luckily, Edwards had smaller plants in the color I wanted, and a kind staff member kindly offered to combine two of the small plants for repotting together in the size pot I wanted. The result was just right! I also learned that there was a crop failure of poinsettias in the color I wanted which is why so few were available this year. The first thing you notice when you walk in it's a ginormous Monstera(?) surrounded by a wide array of different types of plants. I was so entranced by the massive selection I completely forgot to take any pictures of the interior or exterior of the store. The prices are very comparable to other local houseplant shops in Boise. The quality will be considerably better than those at big box stores. The woman who runs the store is one of the most delightful and informative hosts I've ever met in a plant store. She was super patience while I tossed question after question about takinf care of my newly acquired absolutely gorgeous Ponytail Plant ($35.00). Their pottery was plentiful and cheap. This place reminds me of them. The tall square-top/round bottom ones are visually appealing. As are the low, round ones for planting a bunch of succulents. These are the type of containers you would see in a yard that is professionally landscaped. Some have been converted into fountains. Even the drainage dishes are nicely designed. The square/rectangular ones can be used for air plants or shallow-plants. Sorry, the creative gardener is coming out of me. When you go there, don't blink, you'll drive right by the place. It's non-descript out front, with a small parking area. While you're there, check out North End Organic Nursery. I've found that d&b has better topsoil for gardens and their compost is darker. Prices are a little high compared to other local spots. Trying to get prices is not easy, each person I talked to said a different price or didn't know the price. Each time I've gone they seemed annoyed to have to stop what they were doing to help me.
