The Witham ER doc spent literally 2 minutes of time and said he'd recommend a scan but they didn't have the equipment so suggested we take him to St. Vincent's which we did. A few weeks later we received a $105 bill for the Dr. and another $787 for the hospital. So, that's almost $900 for 2 minutes of consult whereby they punted because they didn't have the equipment. Sadly, our insurance paid some of the bills so the lunacy continues. AVOID Witham in Zionsville.

Assuming my call had been forgotten about/lost I tried calling back, was on hold again for about 10 more minutes (all while having never talked to a person - that would really suck if I was sick). Finally got through and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. She was able to get him scheduled same week to become a new patient and appointment. Although she had slow computer / network so it did take a little while to book. If they improve responsiveness when calling the office and also update their equipment so booking an appointment is faster, I'd raise my review. My only past appointment was fine, just annual physical appointment so nothing particularly good or bad (except I was incorrectly billed a copay - should have been covered as preventative care), I will update after my husbands exam based on his experience.

A few years ago my wife and I were looking for a doctor to take our daughter to. She heard good things about Dr. Swenberg. Come to find out; Dr. Swenberg and Dr. Edwards were partners at The Village Doctors, so this worked out great. Dr. Swenberg is extremely great with our daughter and has always given us great advice. The nurses are extremely friendly as well. You feel at home in their practice and I would recommend them to anyone!

It is clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Romero-Cortez does a great job managing my care. He keeps up-to-date with medical information, and he is knowledgeable on a wide range of conditions. He never seems like he is in a rush and has great bedside manner. Dr. Schulte is the best pediatrician. She is great at answering questions and making a first time mom feel confident in her abilities. My son loves Dr. Schulte too! Both doctors, nurses, and support staff do a great job answering any questions I have through the portal. The portal makes it easy for me to feel like I can trust my care providers and reach them in a timely manner. The only complaint I have is that it can be hard to get an appointment at times. However, knowing this, I do my best to schedule in advance. In the case of an emergency, there is also an Immediate Care Center in the same location for such situations.

Not once, but TWICE they gave my 6 month old daughter a vaccine that I specifically stated she was NOT supposed to get. I happened to catch it the first time before they gave it to her, but I didn't the second time until after the shots were given. I was FURIOUS. When I addressed this with the office manager, she told me that the "medical assistant" (not even a nurse) was crying, that she had only been working in the family practice field for a year and was still in training... essentially defending her employee for making such a HUGE mistake. She explained that there were 3 steps she should have followed and had any one of them happened like they were supposed to (1. follow doctors orders 2. give me the pamphlets of info about each vaccine beforehand 3. have me sign the form stating which vaccinations were being given beforehand) then it could have been avoided all together. I told the office manager that I wanted to file a formal complaint with corporate and she took my information and said she'd get back to me on how to do so. Well almost 2 weeks later, of course I still have no word from her... so I called corporate myself and the next day I got a call back from her after corporate contacted her about what happened. The communication between the doctors and staff here is severely lacking as well as any emphasis on following protocol. Thankfully my daughter is fine, but needless to say I will not be back nor do I recommend this practice to anyone.

As for the other 50+ practices is takes 2 months to get first appointment or more in many different fields such as but not limited to; IUHealth, neurologist, vascular neurologist, psychiatrist, psychologist, endocrinologist, physical therapist, vestibular physical therapy, radiologist, Internalists, and many more.
