I recently returned to Gaudy Law to update my estate planning, and the experience was just as…read moreseamless as the first time, if not better. The process is anchored by an incredibly simple questionnaire that guides you through every step of setting up a revocable trust, Will, Power of Attorney, and healthcare directive. It takes the intimidation factor out of what can otherwise be a very complex legal task. Why I Recommend Them: * Knowledgeable Staff: Both Juliana and Jaclyn were extremely helpful. Even as a returning client, I actually learned new details this time around. Jaclyn explained how I can write directly on the schedule and still have it remain official, a tip that wasn't covered during my first visit but is so practical for future updates. * Fair Pricing: They offered a returning customer discount, bringing the total for the entire revocable trust package to under $3,000, which is very competitive for this level of service. * The Atmosphere: The office is located in a former three-unit residential compound, making the environment feel warm and inviting rather than "stuffy." I especially enjoyed the beautiful tree outside that happened to be in full bloom while I was there. * Professionalism: I really appreciate that they set clear professional boundaries, including a dedicated lunch break for the staff. It's refreshing to see a business that values its team's time while still providing top-tier service to clients. If you're looking for a straightforward, educational, and welcoming place to handle your estate planning, I can't recommend Gaudy Law enough.

Communication was poor, and we often felt that our questions were not fully answered. In our experience, billing was very detailed and applied to even minor communications or tasks, so I would recommend being very familiar with the process and billing structure before signing a retainer. We also did not feel adequately informed as the retainer balance was being depleted, which is important to consider if cost is a concern. Overall, I would encourage others to ask detailed questions upfront about communication expectations, billing practices, and retainer updates before moving forward with this firm.

I originally left a positive review because I appreciated the assistance I received during my…read morecustody case. Unfortunately, my experience completely changed once I experienced temporary financial hardship and was unable to immediately pay the remaining balance. Despite communicating through email that I fully intended to pay, the process server from Cal Chases who was hired by the company repeatedly called my workplace five times in a row regarding the debt to the point that my manager had to ask him to stop repeatedly calling the store asking for me and disrupting employees. I personally informed him that I would meet him outside after my shift ended at 4:00 PM. Instead, he entered my workplace at approximately 3:15 PM before my shift ended and went through the aisles of the store loudly yelling my full name and "stop hiding and pay your bills" in front of employees, customers, and management. For a company willing to publicly humiliate a working single mother over a few hundred dollars that was already being addressed, the behavior displayed was beyond unprofessional and completely lacking basic human decency. The entire incident was embarrassing, disruptive, witnessed by multiple employees, and captured on store security cameras. His conduct will be reported. The balance of $400 has now been paid in full. Hopefully it was worth handling the situation this way. You guys must be struggling in business to sue someone for kind of money & pay for a person to serve me. Single parents that don't make much money beware they will have you harassed at your job to be served.
