Made an oil change appointment at 3:30. It's 4:35 and they are barely moving the car in to do the oil change on it. What's the point in doing an appointment if they are going to take an hour to bring it in the shop. read more

Unprofessional, Incompetent, and possibly negligent. We noticed a leak in our tire so we went to see if we could get it repaired. The tire was repaired and "confirmed" fixed. We left only to find our tire wasn't repaired. This is incredibly dangerous and could've caused serious injury. I called and they said to bring it back the next morning so it had to sit flat all night. The next morning we filled our tire with air and traveled 35 miles back to the dealership to re-repair the tire. Now, there was a different tear that could not be repaired. I had two different employees tell me they could not say whether the damage was new (from driving on a confirmed repair but actually not repaired tire) or not. I also believe the damage was from driving on it flat and it sitting. After offering to sell me new tires I asked to speak the manager. As I started to explain to the manager (Jim Krause) what my problem was he quickly cut me off, "Yeah I know all that. What do you want out of this?" As I tried to explain that I needed a new tire BECAUSE of them, he dismissed it outright and said you're gonna need to buy new tires. He was condescending and rude. If you can't trust a "confirmed" repair then what is the point? They do not stand behind their technicians work and caused more damage to my tire. Thank goodness we didn't have an accident.... The Seller didn't know Anything about the History of this vehicle, yet told us that it was Guaranteed from the Auction and that it was Like NEW AND 100% had No issues at all. I found out that this vehicle did have Two separate accidents and the Transmission started failing the same day that we purchased vehicle. The Dealers is about 2.5 hours away from my home, so I started noticing a jerking when the car what shifting gears. I alerted the Seller the next day and he made some story up that Ford Motor Company will be sending out Notices for transmission replacement, by Labor Day 2019. I contacted Ford on many occasions and they stated that it was Not true and that this vehicle V.I.N. has no such coverage. The Seller falsified information on the Legal Title disclosure. disclosure, as I have proof from Ford dealership that the damamge from the accident resulted in more than 50% of the vehicles total value. The Seller is simply Negligent for selling a vehicle, under a State Auto Dealer License, that they knew Nothing about. The seller "Preyed" on myself by messaging multiple false statements about the condition of the car, which they had know known proof to confirm with. The seller continued to REASSURE me that I have nothing to worry about, if I purchase his vehicle. The Seller omitted many material facts of the vehicle that gave myself reason to Trust the seller.

Background: We were on our way from NW Iowa to Memphis for the Liberty Bowl on 12/28/2923. After…read moredriving about 60 miles our car's radiator "bit the dust." The plastic nipple that connects the coolant hose from the radiator to the engine block broke off spewing ethylene glycol everywhere under the hood. I immediately took out my phone and started looking for a repair shop in Storm Lake...the closest big town. I gave A&A Automotive a call and spoke with Gene. While on the phone, Gene check with several parts distributors close by. I was thinking, "Better get a room for a night or 2. Where are they going to find a radiator for a 2014 Subaru Outback nearby? Oh, and kiss those Liberty Bowl tickets goodbye!" Gene came back on the line an told me he found a radiator In Storm Lake! He gave me contact info for a towing outfit (props to Tyson at Storm Lake Towing!) The car was towed to A&A and 3 HOURS LATER we were back on the road! Amazing!!!! And, reasonably priced, too! Thanks to Gene, Nate and Adam at A&A Automotive for making a bad situation the best. BTW, made it to the game. Unfortunately the Clones lost. 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One week and hundreds of dollars later a single heating issue remains. Being new in town and not…read moreseeing many reviews on shops around Storm Lake I decided to bring my car in to have a heater issue looked at on my 87 accord. Heater core valve was stuck and simply needed to be unstuck. The staff was very short and not very welcoming but that's the usual it seems with these mom and pa shops around here. After calling a few times during the week, only to be told that it wasn't ready and "we'll call you back", I finally got a call to come pick up my car. As winter was approaching I was excited that this vehicle was going to blow warm air. Boy was I wrong. The tech gave me a rundown of the work that had been done and went on to show me that indeed the heater was working, but only about 30% of it and he said as the car warms up more the heater should get warmer. Never did it get warmer. It only got worse. The car blew semi warm air for a minute at the shop and from the same night and on it feels like the AC is on at all times. Seems like I left the shop in worse shape. Wouldn't recommend.
