I can't say enough about Bob (the Founder & Owner) and his team! He picked me up on the side of I40 just outside Shamrock around 8pm. Bob was prompt to answer my call and quick to arrive. His years of experience proved itself as he had no problem towing my vehicle and enclosed trailer to his lot. He dropped me off at the Western Motel and picked me up the next morning. He also helped me find the best option for service. The whole team was super friendly and completely accommodating. Bob went above and beyond in every way possible!! He picked us up on the side of the I-40 around 7 pm on a Saturday night and towed us to a nice hotel to stay at for the night. He then promptly the next morning came to the hotel after driving 20 miles to pick up a new tire for us at a nearby shop. He returned to get us back on our way by 10am! Bob is a saint! I got a call from my husband and son that on a snowy I-40, two trucks had simultaneously stopped short in front of them. Their SUV (and large UHaul they were towing) had been forced into the snowy center median to avoid a pile-up. Enter Bob Edwards, who arrived and went to great lengths not only get them back on the road, but to make sure they were safe and good to go. When I heard all this, I nearly fainted, but am ever grateful that their are kind and experienced folks like this to help people! Can't thank enough!!! read more

I wish I could give Edwards service more than 5 stars. We were traveling across Texas when our truck broke down, the second time in one day. Mr. Edwards was a God sent. While riding in the tow truck, I became ill. He pulled over on the side of the road. When I got out of the truck, I passed out, luckily my husband caught me. Mr. Edwards got something for me to lay on and called an ambulance. When the ambulance got there and took my husband and I to the hospital, Mr. Edwards took the truck back to his business with our dog in the truck. He then came to the hospital to give my husband the dog and took the truck to the dealership. He went above and beyond what you would think a tow truck driver would do. I lost a wheel on my Uhaul trailer today. Uhaul contacted Edwards Towing and they quickly arrived at my location. They had my trailer quickly towed back to Shamrock, Ronald was able to help me get me back on my way. Call the other two towing places first, I got ripped off, highway robbery. Wheel hub assembly on a 2500 Dodge Ram. Part called for 1.4 hours of labor, charged me 4 and said they took apart the other assembly (the assembly is either good or bad, you don't take it apart) Part from Orielly delivered to their shop $364, they said they had to go get the part, charged me $240 to go get it, and $585 for the part. Charged $610 for a 28 mile tow. They performed work before asking me if I wanted to. No communication of pricing (I learned to ask better questions) Total bill was $1978, estimate from the other two shops including two was under $800. BAD lesson learned. I called to let them know I felt taken advantage of, was traveling from Phoenix to Missouri, limited cell service, felt I had limited options. When I got him on the phone the first 20 minutes of the call was talking bad about the other two companies before I had even said anything. Call the other two companies first ESPECIALLY if you're over the road. Even the couple locals I asked what they thought.... Call someone else. 0 star review. read more
