I had to beg for some basic routine labs because oit's clear with the naked eye the enlargement of her thyroid! When I asked for the labs then he said he would refer me to pain dr to do steroid inject. I worked at UTSW and inform him of the correct specialist referral, he argued and insisted we use his long-time friend's clinic, which felt more like a kickback scheme than genuine care. He repeatedly pushed supplements from his inoffics pharmacy (apparently another "partner" of his) and told us not to go to the ER--even when it was clearly warranted--instead directing us to call his office for a CT scan. I had to practically beg for routine labs, and he wanted us to do at his "inhouse labs" even though it was closed. when the nurse finally agreed to write for labs, she "forgot" to send in the orders or follow up with results. His bedside manner is distant and uncaring, and he even wont let you develop Rapport with him. Every visit feels like a waste of time and money. If you want compassionate care, honest referrals, and a doctor who actually examines you, look elsewhere.

I used to work in a physician's office, and I have seen how demanding and ridiculous patients can be. Doctors cannot break the rules of medicine or go outside of the insurance restrictions to refill prescriptions, just give a patient what they want, or see patients who are behind in their payments. Dr. Truong (and every single one of her staff) has been kind to me. They are all races and backgrounds and ages, so the discrimination accusation below is unwarranted. I am white. Dr. Truong is Vietnamese. Some of the staff are Hispanic or African American. I have gone to Dr. Truong for only two years, but two African American friends of mine been going to her for years and never had any complaints. It is slanderous to make that accusation. How a patient speaks to staff can get them dismissed from a medical office, and I applaud any physician who stands behind their staff. Since the pandemic, people have become more demanding and just plain awful. Try working a front desk in a medical office for one day and you will be buying flowers for these ladies to compliment them on their skill and patience. Grow up, be kind, and be a patient person.

It totally saddens me to have heard and read of Dr. Hale leaving practice. After waiting over an hour to see the doctor because of a sick infant, then being told that a…read morecovid/flu test needed to be done and that would involve an hour wait for the results - when the "nurse?" had asked if I wanted it done 45 minutes earlier and I had said yes, was the straw that broke my back. EVERYTIME we have come into this office, either for myself or the two little girls 11 months and almost 3, we have had to wait for a minimum of 45 minutes once we are in a room before we see the doctor for all of MAYBE 5 minutes. This is not acceptable, especially when others come in after we have arrived and they are leaving or have left before we are even seen. I make sure that we are EARLY for every appointment. We will be changing to a physician's office where they WANT to keep their patients, not one that is this sloppy, slow and rude. ALL our appointments have been cancelled, insurance has been notified that we will be changing providers and why. The "intake interview" is done remotely, by a person who mumbles and does not use English as their main language, when they have been told at the very beginning of the "interview, that the adult is deaf. We have been in this office or a minimum of 8 times for myself and the two little girls and we have NEVER had a wait less than 45 minutes once we are stuck in a room. On my last visit for prescription refills, the blood work took three techs to draw blood when they were told that I have veins that collapse, and that they need to use a very small needle along with the urine sample being lost. The bruises that are left look like I have been beat up. The doctor who isn't a doctor but a PA, rushes in and out, there is no time to ask questions and blood results are always off the wall. I am an RN, I am not some patient that buys anything that I am told. I also see an oncologist, when blood work are never the same between the two visits I will take the results from the oncologist before I am concerned what this report is saying to be honest. If you are in urgent need for a provider, keep looking, this is probably not where you want to be. I have ended up taking my children to Cook's ER when I can not get any assistance from this office.

Yesterday 9/11/2023 I had a schedule visit to my my annual physical. During my check in process Cindy (front person) said that I had a balance. No problem I took my debit card and paid it. She was finishing checking me in and right before Ramon came to get me she said "come see me after you are discharge just in case there are other things that are being done" I immediately said, all I'm here is for my physical and I left it at that. During my physical check, the high blood pressure subject came in and at that point I asked the dr doctor if she could do a refill and she said yes. She the continued with the checking up. She said then said Ramon's will be back to do the blood drawing and for the flu shot Ramon came back took a care of that and I was then handed discharge documents which had the wrong weight listed and I brought it up to him to correct. After this, this is where it went downhill for us. I went back to Cindy as she asked and immediately she said that I owe money for the visit. I asked why since I was told that physically was covered 100%. She then replied that because I asked for a refill that turned into a doctor visit. I was shocked because I felt their approach was to mislead you and charge you which is very unprofessional and unethical. I did not wanted to argue and just paid it but I was disappointed and yes my family and I will not be returning to this clinic. And check this out... they are so determined to get your money one way or the other that they even forgot to do the flu shot. This was never done. Read my review and you apply as you see fit. This is not made up and it exactly is hat happened. It is a shame because the doctor herself is nice and polite. It her staff are inept. And who knows maybe these are the directions they get from her. Whatever the case may be, we are done with them.
