What stood out most was that other customers -- including individuals who entered the store after I did -- were asked if they needed assistance, while I was not acknowledged at all. Customer service is a big part of the retail experience, especially at a specialty running store where fit and guidance matter. The women's clothing section consists of about 4 different styles. Nothing good ever goes on sale. The men's selection is a bit better but they are always out of size smalls and usually only have a lot of large sizes. Same issue with shoes. Heavy on on clouds and two choices each of other brands. Always out of common sizes. What usually ends up happening is I see something I like, then because of a better return policy at a competing retailer, or better price and colors I end up purchasing online.
