Office: Insurance? -- My wife gave it. **My wife: Do you want our supplemental insurance, too? Office: No, not necessary. Date of birth? -- My wife gave it. Office: Can you read the insurance card number again? -- My wife repeated it. Office: Do you have any other insurance? **My wife (what??): I just asked you if you wanted it, you said not necessary. Office: Well, can I have it? **My wife (bemused): OK...let me get the card. (my wife reads the info to her). Office: OK, what's your husband's date of birth? **My wife (huh?): I gave that to you already. Office: Can you give it to me again? **My wife: Seriously? You didn't...get it?...a few minutes ago? OK. (she gives it again) Office: And what's your husband's name again? **My wife (trying to keep calm): That was the FIRST thing I gave you 5 minutes ago! Office: Can you spell it for me? **My wife (looking at me at this point and shrugging her shoulders in disbelief): Sure. (she spells my name) Office: Your insurance, can you read the number again? **My wife (understandably fed up): You know.........it doesn't sound as if you're really interested in even having this conversation, since you keep asking me the EXACT SAME QUESTIONS!! over and over. I think we'll find another doctor whose office staff actually pays attention!! (My wife hangs up the phone). SO...I'm guessing it shouldn't be THAT difficult to ascertain WHO was answering the phones in Dr. Hillyer's office at 2pm on February 19, 2024. Because THAT WOMAN...is the FIRST INTERACTION the "public" experiences while representing Dr. Shahab Hillyer. Incompetence. Lack of caring. Indifference. That's the ONLY thing we walked away with from this one, simple phone call to merely set up an appointment. Pay attention, Dr Hillyer. You may very well be terrific, but WE'LL never know, because you hired Ms. Indifferent to answer your phones.

In fact, during my procedure we talked about how long he's been in business and a little about his history in the army. The operation itself went great. He did surgery on me and I felt he handled everything with care. He walked me through everything before the operation, asked if I had any questions, which I did, and he answered all of them. The atmosphere, level of privacy, location, cleanliness, customer service, and the operation, were all a solid 10/10 experience for me personally. I noticed a water fountain and drank some water but could taste a little bit of the chlorine so I asked for a bottled water and they happily gave me one. Staff wished me a happy weekend and easy recovery on my way out and I'm scheduled for a follow up in 2 weeks. If I remember I'll try to update this review but so far so good! 44 yrs, Male

After the appointment, my father was so upset that he came directly to my home to tell me he wanted to change providers and would never return. I immediately transferred his care to another provider, who treated him with the kindness and respect he deserved. When a patient is sharing something as serious as a cancer diagnosis, compassion and empathy are essential. Unfortunately, this was not our experience here, and I would not recommend this provider.

We were welcomed and registered by Elisha who took care of all my paperwork no problems. I was called back after a short wait to Pre.Opp. I was met by Marilee, she explained what was next, provided me with a gown took my vitals, inserted my I V (no pain) Marilee made me comfortable. I then met Paige my OR nurse all the staff here are professional lots of teamwork. Paige was Joined by Dr. Scurlock my anesthesiologist, we went over my sedation and recovery. Dr.Schlamblin came in asked if I was ready, marked my my shoulder. There was no rush the entire staff was very accommodating answered all my questions I was ready. 2 hours later, I opened my eyes and met Linda my recovery nurse. Linda was great we called my wife discussed my at home care helped me get dressed had another visit from Dr Schlamblin everything went well as planned.
