She's very warm and gentle with the newborns, and just as great with the toddlers; she read a story to our 2-year-old daughter while I nursed the baby, and our daughter just adored her. Prior to coming to our home, she also emailed several suggestions for getting ready (such as making sure the room was a little warmer than normal so the baby would stay sleepy and happy through outfit changes).
