5/23/24 been here 2 or 3 times now. Very good Chinese take out. Note: CASH ONLY (no credit or debit cards). We always get the crab rangoon, shrimp egg rolls, cut wings, and house special lo-mein. My wife and I can't eat it all, and have leftovers for lunch the next day! $33 total including tax. Very good, and very consistent. read more

We ordered orange chicken, chicken with broccoli, wonton soup and steamed dumplings to go. The orange chicken was fresh and full of flavor - very orangey! Chicken with broccoli was also tasty. The broccoli was better than expected. I was a little disappointed by the lack of vegetables and egg in the fried rice but it was still good. The wonton soup was pretty on par with other wonton soups I've had in the past. My only complaint was the gumminess of the steamed dumplings. The wrapper was much too thick. I might try fried next time or something else altogether. Overall, it was a good to-go experience. We will definitely be back! read more

Everywhere I travel I like to try the hot and sour soup. Ive been all over the US and tried hundreds of soups, but Im from SC and ive been wanting to try a new one. So I was spontaneous and tried this place tonight, sooooooo so good. The meat is so flavorful and the black fungus is such a nice touch. I will be back! The food is great always has been. I've been going there for a long long time and I only had one time wings missing. I called in the next time I came in. She gave it to me. This is my favorite place for fried dumplings and their sauce is yummy. I definitely recommend this place any time. I also would see if they get credit card used they would get even more traffic. read more

I was very disappointed with my food!! My first time visiting & first off the customer service sucks, the lady was not friendly!! I spent $18 ordered honey wings with house fried rice, the rice barely had meat then the meat was uncooked & gooey, I ask for honey wings lady tried telling me I didn't which I know for a fact I did then goes to tell me 60 more cents & just poured the honey over my chicken! Not to mention should have known something wasn't right cooked my food less than 10 mins...went back for my refund she act as if she was mad because I wasn't satisfied with my food I will not be returning read more

While I search and search for the perfect Chinese food here in town or abroad I never really find the total package. Growing up in Woodfield this perhaps was the Chinese restaurant my parents ordered from especially when it was take out food to bring home. Not knowing much about Chinese cuisine I often ordered sweet and sour chicken then slowly moving to the pork version. As I got older I got bourbon chicken and many other dishes here mostly to bring home. Too many choices not of revolving specials and cash only which is a pain the ass when you're no where close to a dam ATM on Decker or nearby. The wings are good and they usually get my order right over the years. I enjoy the new people running the place even though I'm sure they have been working here over ten years. read more

Caution: the only thing I've EVER gotten here since childhood are Eggrolls and General Tso Chicken, and so will you. I used to come here almost daily in high school, and then I moved away. I've often wondered if the food was as good as I remembered after 10 years. I came to town for a visit and stopped in. Fortunately I brought cash. They never had a credit card machine and still don't. I ordered the General Tso Chicken and eggrolls. It was exactly as good as I remembered. I burned every part of my mouth. The eggrolls are just the right amount of peppery, and much larger than those you find in other places around the country. I could eat a meal of just 4 of those and be happy. The General Tso Chicken, though, is so so wonderful. The sauce is so good I asked for extra in a cup and put that on my eggrolls. It comes with broccoli in it and perfectly fried rice (ham-fried is extra but also delicious). If you stick to this order you'll be happy. I've never strayed, but what I've tasted of others' food is normal-good, whereas this order is über-good. read more

food is ok but the male owner is ridiculous! I told him Chicken sticks and fried rice. I paid over $10 and then noticed the sign after that said Special $6.50 for the same thing! I inquired and was told that I didn't say I wanted the special! Then saw a charge for sweet and sour sauce on my receipt. When I asked what that was for, I was told it was for tap water. Never again! There's a new Chinese restaurant down the road that we'll be trying! and to add to this now that the food has arrived, the chicken sticks taste like shoe leather. Not overbearingly sweet, the flavor was well balanced. The rice was plain. It was slightly browned. It was delicious enough to eat without a hint of sauce or bite of chicken.
