I said I was interested and I need to confirm for my band members, he said it would NOT be a problema to hold until Monday - "No problem at all" his words. Now it is Monday the 30th, I called in to confirm and close the deal. Sebastian said he rented the room to somebody else and said "I gotta keep the business running". He didn't even give me a call to say "Hey Dan, you were here on Friday and now I have someone interested, if you are not going to close now I will rent to someone else". Because if we knew there was another person to close we'd have transferred immediately over the weekend - after all he said he was going to hold no problem so how would I know? This is the most disrespectful and unprofessional situation. His words mean nothing, I wasted time and money to go there and he doesn't care. He offered another room that is smaller, and used as storage room, no windows, and for the same price!! Not even said "sorry I made a mistake", after all we are humans, instead he's proud and gives zero fuck since now he's got his money and the room rented. If you are looking for someone honest and professional, this is NOT your spot.

The experience was great though and I can see why bands like Barenaked Ladies frequent this place. We were in Studio A and we choose the 7' Baldwin Grand Piano to record with and man did it sound beautiful. The studio and recording equipment is top notch, and your choices for pianos and organs are astounding. Just take a look on their website for all their gear. The guys working there were really helpful and the process was fast and smooth. It's not cheap though, you're paying for the best here. That's mainly why we had to go in after hours, to save some coin (I know a guy who knows a guy ;). Once I become a rock star though I intend to really test this place out. Of course, I will update my review accordingly.

It's a big…read moreroom with high ceilings, a vocal booth and a great homey feel to it (Which is due mostly to the fact that it is a home, John actually lives there. You might even find yourself rocking out while John's eating cereal and answering emails on his computer. Where else can you find that?). The best part about this place though is the extensive vintage instrument collection at your disposal. He has a bunch of awesome guitars you can use, an upright piano, a drum set and an awesome Wurlitzer. Plus a bunch of other cool stuff that we never even got to. I forget what it ended up costing us per day, but it was decent rate. I guess the myspace page is the best way to contact him. This review is based on venue rental service for P. C. Ho Theatre…read more It is not easy to find a good performance venue in Scarborough who is decent size and reasonably priced to host events. I am glad that P. C. Ho Theatre which is located inside Chinese Cultural Centre has a professional support team for event venue rental. Great professional service both before and during event. The theatre is spacious and can seat over 500 people. Highly recommend if you want to held any performance or mini concert.
