Everything was made with love and his homemade do you have to try their homemade dressing and I love their locks Benedict it's delicious. The soup goes also delicious. It's really cute in the back. I highly recommend this place and their coffee is delicious as well and very strong.

What a wonderful and incredibly delicious experience right in the Fort Lee area. Looking for a cozy breakfast experience? Look no further! Eggty 8 Cafe gave us all that and more. Jessie (hi Jessie!) was the one who greeted us when we first entered and sat us down. She was very kind and personable, not only to us but to other patrons in the cafe as well. She had a very joyful energy and was excited to make recommendations on new menu additions. Since I was intent on trying something new, I opted for the Shashuka that comes with pita bread on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly! The yolks were balanced between jammy and Runny, making for a wonderfully rich addition to the overall flavor of the dish. The vegetables within the tomato sauce were very fresh and added to a very enjoyable texture experience. I am happy to say that Shakshouka will be a recurring favorite from here on out. The portion size is definitely filling. You could most certainly share this dish! We also tried out the matcha offered at the cafe. It was delightful. The blueberry matcha had a blueberry base made in-house with fresh blueberries. The matcha was so delicious that I am still thinking about it several hours later. While enjoying our meal, it is easy to notice how consistent they are with customer service. From interactions with regulars to new customers, we were treated very well. I will 100% make this cafe my go-to stop whenever I am in the New Jersey area! Definitely stop by if you're thinking about it. I doubt that you'll regret it.

Delicious and so cute! Great selection and the service is terrific! Great parking in the back. We loved it

Sweetest couple! They really care about their restaurant and the food they make. Such a calm atmosphere and the food is phenomenal! The blueberry pancakes were to die for! They have their own fresh blueberry syrup which is a healthy alternative to the regular sugar syrup. 10/10 highly suggest

Eggty 8 Cafe in Fort Lee, NJ has become one of my favorite spots for breakfast and brunch in the neighborhood. I love the Chicken Waffles Eggs Benedict on the menu. Crispy chicken sits atop poached eggs with hollandaise sauce, making a perfect meal, and the home fries are tasty and well-seasoned. Another favorite is the Peanut Corn Pancakes, which are fluffy and not too sweet. Corn and crushed peanuts top them to add a nice crunch. Servers act quickly and cheerfully; the atmosphere is warm and relaxed here, and it is excellent for a solitary breakfast or brunch with friends on the weekend. The cost reflects the quality and style of the food I've eaten. Eggty 8 Café remains my go-to spot for delicious, unpretentious mornings, and I look forward to many return visits.

I was in the area and searched out a place to get a good Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. This place came up in Yelp. Previous reviews were mixed saying it was like hoarders going into there. There were a lot of stuff around but not bad. The service was good but my egg sandwich was mediocre. There was only 2 think slices of Taylor ham and the cheese was not melted. I also asked for pepper and ketchup. I did taste ketchup. The ambiance was messy and cluttered. The baked goods were prepackaged and not mage there. They were from Joey's. The coffee was good. I might go back. And go at your own risk. There were two people eating at a table by the door and a family of three eating in the dining room.

Eggty8 combines the comfort of home cooked meals and the ambiance of a beautiful Parisian cafe. The food is delicious, from the Chicken Goat Cheese Walnut salad which is sweet, crisp and filling! To the Chicken Quesadilla and the Phillycheese steak are classics that they make so delicious. The Thai Chicken Salad one of my favorite salads I've ever had, it is something you will crave more once you have it! To top it off the service from Jessie and James are amazing, they make sure I am taken care of everything visit, thank you Eggty8! I highly recommend a visit!

Food is good. Prices are reasonable. Very slow service. Eggs don't need to take that long.

The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.

We're so glad we did, because this hole in the wall turned out to be a diamond in the rough. With a nondescript exterior and limited signage, Foodies Diner is easy to miss. It's in an area with mainly houses and mixed use commercial buildings, but the space inside is cozy. I especially appreciated the way the owner greeted everyone who enters and thanked everyone who leaves with notable warmth and small-town friendliness. The menu reads like a true diner - with all-day breakfast and brunch options, as well as standard lunch fare. We ordered a Santa Fe salad and an L.A. burger - which comes with avocado, bacon, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes. The burger was pretty standard, but having it delivered on a warm brioche bun feels a little bit special. The accompanying fries were also great - crisp and potatoey on the inside. The salad, on the other hand, was a near triumph. Served on a large platter, there was a small field of well-seasoned chicken, shredded cheddar, vegetables, avocado, pico de gallo, and - best yet - some pieces of warm, toasted pita. I even sprinkled some pieces of bacon from my burger into this salad, and wow did that take it over the top. I dug into this salad with fair gusto and would absolutely come back for it...which is saying something, since I wouldn't expect to fall in love with a salad at a diner. Service was fantastic, and we were pleased with how reasonably priced our meal turned out to be. There's plenty of parking - either right out front or in the lot further back.

Whether one's in the mood for a cozy family dinner or a casual get-together with friends. Sitting on the banks of the Hudson River in Edgewater, my partner, our friends, and I decided on a celebratory dinner at the Haven Waterfront Restaurant & Bar. A reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon arrival as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table immediately by the window inside their floor-to-ceiling dining room, evoking a relaxed yet upscale vibe. Their menu specializes in American/Mediterranean cuisine influenced by seafood, steakhouse, and pasta. For appetizers, we decided on Short Rib Crostini, Kumamoto Oysters, and Yellowin Ahi Tuna Tacos. Our main consisted of Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass, 7 oz Prime Cut Filet Mignon, Bangkok Roasted Duck Breast, Lenny's Lobster Pasta, Crispy Lyonnaise Potatoes, and French Butter Asparagus. We even saved room for dessert and got the Bailey's Crème Brûlée and Assorted Dessert Tasting for two. We washed them down with I Dream of Lychees Martini, Berry White Spritz, and Haven Espresso. Complimentary bread with softened butter started our meal. The food is presented like art, and the portions varied depending on what one ordered. Unfortunately, the service and food didn't live up to the setting for us. Our waiter, Danny, seemed to have an attitude from the moment we arrived. Since gratuity is automatically included for larger parties, it made the experience even more disappointing. As for the food, several dishes lacked seasoning, including the lobster mac & cheese, salmon, braised short rib, short rib ragu, and lobster croquettes. Our group spent almost $1,400, so unfortunately, we expected more from both the food and service. The views and ambiance are lovely, but based on our experience, I wouldn't return.
