A cute little brunch spot in Fort Lee with a great vibe for a date, though the food and service was meh Grilled Cheese (3/5): It tasted a bit bland and wasn't very cheesy. Service: Quite poor and very slow. It felt like they might have been understaffed. Overall, it's a nice setting, but the food aren't anything special or outstanding.

Absolutely delicious. We went here for brunch the day before Father's Day right when they opened. Between the timing of coming in with our three little ones, especially during brunch time. It was great how conveniently the food came out and not a long wait time. Every meal and drink served was done well. We complimented at the table how delicious brunch was overall in presentation and how intricately everything was created with attention to detail. Auri Cafe was recently renovated. Clean, open space with plenty of lighting with indoor and outdoor natural light setting in. Our waitress was friendly and came back frequently to check on our table. I admired the decor and felt the entire environment to be comfortable and serene. Parking was readily available. All payment is accepted. We came in with a stroller with our twins - the front entrance has no accessibility and we walked to the side and one of the employees opened for us to enter. We already said we will be back. Looking forward to the next time we will return!

AURI is an aesthetic Korean-Western fusion restaurant, similar to many of the establishments you'll find in Seoul today. They serve popular "Western" items from Korea like mushroom soup, which is weirdly ubiquitous in Seoul, and fusion pastas with the viral "rose" cream sauce or even a black sesame-based sauce. We came just for dessert and had a slice of ube basque cheesecake on their beautiful patio. The patio's lighting might just help you forget that you're surrounded by the endless parking lots and uninspiring garden apartments of Fort Lee. The cake was very good and did not have an overpowering ube flavor. We will come back to try a full meal!

Friend and I came here just to get some drinks and pastries. Pasteries were alright - scones are a bit too dry and not very tasteful. The atmosphere is nice. There is an outdoor patio and indoors. When you want to sit, there is a waiter so you'll have to tip if you want to sit down here. There is a municipal parking next to the restaurant. The price point is a bit high. 1 cup bingsoo is like 15-16 dollars. One small baked good is about 5-9 dollars. Haven't tried the savory foods yet. I got a decaf shaken honey expresso and you can see the color difference between mine and my friend's non-decaf. Mine tasted pretty watered down.

New Cafe in Fort Lee review!! Food 8/10 Atmosphere 6/10 Service 6/10 Value 5/10 Tips: busy weekend brunch time 12-2pm seating will take ~10-15 mins. Overall had mixed feelings about this place, details below: Food menu concept is unique - Korean fusion food, but dont come here if you are looking for authentic ddukbokki for instance. Food tasted pretty good, drinks were ok. Basil pesto pasta is creamy, I highly recommend the mushroom soup, and the chicken sandwich is all right. Fries were cooked perfectly. The Matcha cloud tasted kind of sour? Interior is clean and stuff are friendly. Despite being very busy, they were attentive. However, it took them long to get a seated, even though there were tables available. The young lady, barista, seemed to be confused/inefficient, taking orders at the same time and asked our party of three how many people we have multiple times, just kept going back-and-forth without really doing anything? And I was just standing there with my plate of baked goods and she just stared at me without asking me if I needed help or if I needed to pay. There is a fun display of different flavors of Madeline's and financiers, but I was disappointed, it didn't taste fresh. However, they have a lot of options and flavors and unique Korean fusion baked goods. For the price point, it is high for New Jersey, however, if you want Korean fusion food, I would try it, not sure if I would come here for dinner or any of the "experiences" or tasting menu. Also seems way too hyped up for what it is but I hope they do well and get used to the fast pace service on weekends. Also the owner was there as well and seemed to be attentive to her customers.

Overall the food was delicious. Just think it's a bit for costly for what you're getting. But on a hot day the AC inside was pumping and the staff was very sweet. The matcha was honestly my favorite. The drinks were made to perfection. Would come back!

Yummy food and clean ambiance. Their waiters are always so bright and friendly. I'll definitely be back for more lunches and possibly even check out their dinner menu.

Starting off with the good. Their coffee is very tasty, smooth without any bitterness pairing perfectly with any of their sweet treats. Their display of baked goods is very aesthetic and enticing. Their desserts are actually not too sweet so it wasn't difficult to eat more than one without feeling sick. It seems like their financiers are one of their potential star desserts. I enjoyed their long financier option more because it had more of that signature crispy chewy outside and moist inside. Also, not too sweet which I loved. Their shorter financiers did not have that chewy outside and felt too cake like. It also tasted a bit floury or doughy on the inside. The berry one had so much potential. Their strawberry financier did not taste like strawberry at all, it just tasted like a sweet coating. Their cookies remind me of chip city or levain with how big they are. I really enjoyed their chocolate chip and walnut one. The nut addition was really great and added great texture. But wasnt a cookie to rave about. Not sure i would get it again. Their cheesecake is super creamy and delicious. This is something I highly recommend. One gripe I have is calling the raspberry cheesecake a raspberry cheesecake because they put a single raspberry on top. I was looking for an actual raspberry cheesecake with more raspberry flavor. Is the blueberry cheesecake a cheesecake with one blueberry on top? Haha They also offer scones. Mine was a bit white inside so it seemed a bit undercooked. I just don't like how it says jam and butter scone but there is literally a pinky toenail amount of jam and butter so its really just a plain scone. The one bite I had with the jam and butter though was really good. This is def something they can easily adjust. Lastly, while looking at the menu, it seemed pretty basic for the steep prices. I did however love their truffle fries. Super crispy and fragrant. Overall, I think there is a ton of potential for this cafe. Nowhere else is offering financiers and scones like this but def needs some adjustments to gain some returning customers.

My friends and I had brunch here on a Saturday. It was very busy inside, and all the tables were filled quickly by 12:00 PM. For appetizers, we started with French fries to share and also got the crab cream croquette and the mushroom soup. The croquettes and the mushroom soup were my favorites. We also ordered the mala shrimp pasta and the rose cream pasta. The mala shrimp pasta was very spicy, but there was way too much oil in it. They may need to tone down the mala for people who can't take too much spice. The rose cream pasta was good and super creamy, though it could've used some more protein, like chicken or shrimp. There was only one waitress taking orders and handling all the tables so the service was a bit slow. All in all, I thought the interior was very pretty and clean, but I did not think the food was anything out of this world. I like that it's BYOB, and I will be coming back to try the dinner menu. *There is a public parking space next to the restaurant, but it was impossible to find a spot because it was full and cars were circling around to try to snag a spot.

i went here with a friend. it has a nice ambiance. i didn't know it was a korean european fusion place so when i first saw the menu i was a little confused. i picked the aglio e olio pasta because i thought that was a good choice because i love pasta and its my usual go to but i was very underwhelmed by it. i know its not an Italian spot but i was looking for more flavor. i'm italian so i take pasta very seriously. i ate some of it and then packed the rest up. i ended up giving it to my friend to bring home. my friend also had a chicken dish and enjoyed it. so maybe it was just my choice of food. the service was good, we had the waitress checking in on us and asking how everything is. i didn't realize when i first parked that the parking lot is a paid parking area so its not free parking.

I made a 12PM reservation at AURI and realized that this was part of their soft opening in Fort Lee. The space itself is beautiful, with a nicely decorated interior featuring a spacious coffee and pastry setup in the front, with seating towards the back end of the restaurant. You could tell they are still putting the finishing touches on a few items, with some construction in the back patio but we were seated quickly and greeted warmly. Unfortunately, that's when things started to go down hill as I could immediately tell they their FOH seemed to be short-staffed. Our waitress was friendly and sat us down, though things began to break down as items started to come out in piece meal and communication started to fall apart. At first I was told that my selection, a croissant sandwich, was no longer available after waiting for nearly 25 minutes. Annoyingly this was only communicated to me after I had already ordered so I made a last-minute pivot to the pasta, hoping it would come quicker as another member of our table had ordered that dish. Then, we were informed that the waitress made a mistake and they did in fact have the croissant HOWEVER they no longer had chicken, meaning my poor friend had to wait even longer for his order to be made. Confusingly they did end up bringing out my original croissant dish (which my friend ended up eating, given how hungry he was) but apparently they had no chicken (which they communicated nearly half an hour after we originally ordered). During this confusion multiple waitresses took our order or stopped by so there didn't seem to be a clear flow of communication. When I told one waitress about the issue she ran down to check, but then our original waitress came back and gave conflicting information. All in all it was a bit of a mess, and multiple tables around us ended up having the same issue. At the end of the day I get it's a soft opening and I'm generally flexible when it comes to delays but the lack of communication, conflicting information and general sense of confusion was really hard to swallow. I'd consider giving this place another shot after a few months once they (hopefully) resolve their issues.

We heard that a new restaurant opened and were excited to check it out. The food was really yummy, particularly the rose pasta and the mushroom soup! The pasta was a large portion and the flavors weren't too creamy or overwhelming. The mushroom soup was perfectly seasoned and the presentation was so cute. The grilled chicken sandwich was yummy too, with a nice balsamic drizzle over the sandwich. We also got a pistachio latte and a sweet potato latte, both of which were fire. The pistachio latte had pistachio bits that added a yummy texture and the sweet potato latte had sweet potato that was hand-ground into bits and drizzled with honey. That first sip hit different As for the cafe/restaurant itself, there were a bunch of outlets in the benches and around the entire interior. The inside was super cute and the holiday decorations made for a cozy vibe. Lastly, parking was fairly straightforward with a paid lot next door. 11/10 recommend!!

I noticed that Mavi's has installed wall mounted televisions, which scroll menu items, specials, and upcoming events. This was my first time ordering from their brunch menu and it was outstanding. My Western Omelette (ham, onion, mushroom, pepper, egg, potato, arugula, almond slices) was an excellent choice. Every ingredient was fresh, the eggs were fluffy, and it was accompanied by a side salad and two large slices of multigrain bread. The other items were the artistically presented Avocado Salad (Avocado, tomato, onion crisp, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, arugula mixed salad, almond slices with balsamic glaze and sesame dressing) and the Toowoomba Shrimp Donkatsu (crispy, golden-fried cutlet smothered in a rich, creamy, and spicy Cajun Toowoomba sauce with shrimp, onions, and mushrooms, served alongside a half-portion of pasta). This dish is succulent, creamy, pleasantly spicy, and thoroughly enjoyed. I'll never dine at Mavi's without ordering a Kimchi Bulgogi Pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, onion, mushroom, bulgogi beef, kimchi, scallion, spicy mayo drizzle). Not only does every ingredient dance in your mouth, but the soft beet infused crust makes this one of the best pizzas I've happily savored.

I was excited to finally order dinner after hearing good things, but my husband and I were unfortunately disappointed with the experience. We ordered takeout for dinner: Toowoomba Shrimp Pasta with Tonkatsu and the Spicy Original Tteokbokki (rice cakes) with Fried Kim-ma-ri (fried seaweed rolls). The shrimp pasta had good flavor but the portion was way too tiny. After only three or four bites, it was gone. There were about 4 pieces of shrimp in the entire dish and they could've added more pasta, given that it's not an expensive ingredient. The tonkatsu was also underwhelming. It was a small piece served in a large container that made the portion size look even more skimpy. I was also disappointed in the tteokbokki. It was mostly sauce with no egg and only a few pieces of fish cake, again served in a container that was far too large for the amount of food provided. The kim-ma-ri pieces were fine but also very small. Overall, the meal was underwhelming. For a total cost of nearly $50, the quantities were just way too small. We were left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry.
