We've played 3 times but the last time will probably be the last time. All of our run ins with the members have been nasty. We are not your red neck golfers. We know golf etiquette and attire but they apparently want to remind us of all of the rules. They think they are elite and top notch but they are really just snooty, nasty people. We (twosome) were behind one foursome that was playing really slow. We patiently waited at every hole. Eventually, they let us play through without us asking but then were making rude comments to us. We felt very unwelcome and don't want to be surrounded by all the Karen's enforcing clubhouse rules.

(He said he told group in front of us so what's the point of coming to us). I guess they expected us to hit into the group in front. Absolutely ridiculous to come say anything at all to us when we were being held up by group in front. It pissed us off so much with their negative energy at the start that it ruined our round. Never been so hawkeyed on a round in my life and our group typically plays pretty fast and after some shots would add unnecessary negative commentary. Waste of money playing this course and they should be ashamed of themselves for telling a group to speed up when it's actually impossible when group in front is the reason for the slow play and especially on such an early hole!

I went downstairs but no one was there. I walked to the other end of the shed , found a guy , and asked him if he was who I needed to see about getting a cart. He gruffly replied the he would help me as soon as he got finished cleaning the cart he was working on!!! After a couple of minutes he gave us a cart. The course has a lot of character but the fairways are non existent. Mostly sand and weeds. Even in the middle of the fairway , it was like hitting out of fairway bunkers all day long. Greens and tee boxes were ok, so I assume there is no irrigation in the fairways. 65 for 18 holes. Should be about 35. Would gladly pay 100 if there was grass in the fairways. Great potential if someone put a few bucks in the place.

Three local…read morefamilies who have regularly supported this course and play often, both fathers and sons, will no longer be spending our time or money here after the way our teenagers were treated by the new course Marshall and by Holden. Our 15-year-old boys, who are respectful, responsible, and have played this course many times before, arrived for their tee time ready to enjoy the day together like they have so many times before. They were not only denied access by the course marshal because they are not yet 16 but aggressively belittled and made fun of. This age restriction was not clearly stated on the course website, and they were not made aware of it before booking. To make matters worse, they did not receive a full refund. We were told the money had gone to the booking company and that there was nothing that could be done in the most condescending and unprofessional manner. Our families were paying about $40 per teen for their experience and were happy to do so as it meant our kids could spend an afternoon being active together, but we left feeling dismissed, disrespected and targeted. The most disappointing part was the way the situation was handled. The course marshal and another employee, Holden, spoke to these young men in a way that felt unnecessarily rude and aggressive. We have also had previous concerns about this marshal's interactions with these teenagers, including comments about their appearance and accusations regarding the course that had no merit whatsoever. When one of the boys' mothers came to address the refund issue and make sure they were treated fairly, the interaction continued to be disrespectful. The biggest issue was not the policy itself. If this situation had been handled with even an ounce of professionalism toward these teenagers and their parent, there would have been no issue. We would have understood the policy, accepted it, and simply chosen to play somewhere else. Instead, the way this was communicated made these young men and their parent feel disrespected and belittled. A policy can be enforced without making customers, especially teenagers, feel like they are unintelligent, unwelcome, or beneath the person enforcing it. The tone and attitude shown during this interaction were completely unnecessary and not what we would expect from a business serving this awesome community. We understand that golf courses have rules and policies, and those policies should be followed. However, rules can be communicated professionally and respectfully, especially when dealing with young customers who are trying to enjoy the sport. It is unfortunate that the actions of a few employees have resulted in three families who have supported this course choosing not to ever return. We hope management takes a serious look at how young golfers and families are being treated.

Pines and oaks course all bunkers and traps are very poorly maintained. Lots of grass growing in…read moremost. Sand is barely sand. It's mainly hard pan dirt sometimes it just looks like dried up mud hole barely any rakes out there to rake with. No morning maintenance has ever been done on any bunkers. With the price increases they should be nice white fluffy beach sand so you can least get out.

I understand we had a lot of rain but to me it seemed the water had no where to go. Badly constructed in my opinion. I am hoping if it gets dryer it will be better BUT I won't play there again until it's fixed.
