It's not a trip without mini golf. The sun was pouring down and we were the only players. The chap in charge let us pick our own music, so off we went with 80's Brit Pop, We putted and danced all holes. Some were quite tricky and quickly became a par 7. Goody golf is an old school creative, fun and mildly challenging mini golf or putt putt place located in fort walton Florida. Me and my family on our vacation stopped in here on one night to place a round of putt. Prices here are supper cheap. Like shockingly cheap for what they offer. Courses are fun and me and my girls all had a blast playing. My one year old who can't play had probably more fun then us crawling up the unique courses and looking at all the wacky animal statues they had there. Defiantly got some cute photos of her. Overall this was a great experience. Fun and cheap. Maybe one of our favorite things we did in the fort walton and Destin Area. So I'm back. However, it's better this time. They repainted the animals and actually replaced the carpet on some of the holes. They still have the sour high school employees who love the tik toks but I like that. My only suggestion is on the #1 course, the castle hole needs some love. That tetanus shack is about to collapse. Also, some of the cups are bottomless. I couldn't get my ball a few times and I had to have my kid get it. Regardless, the place is great and I love it. The price is right and the holes are just challenging enough. I gave it 4 stars because I'd really like to see the old mechanics back working again. read more

This place is going to make you feel nostalgic for sure! Dated doesn't even begin to describe it, but our group of friends had a blast playing together. It was quite empty when we showed up, but by the time we were halfway through it was surprisingly full without feeling crowded. My boyfriend and his friends grew up in the area, so they got to point out what features had changed, used to move, got repainted, etc. Their enthusiasm was contagious and we all had a blast. A few of us even scored hole in ones, including one lucky friend on the last hole who won a free game! It's quite cheap to play, but it is CASH ONLY. Thankfully they have an ATM on site. $3 a person, can't beat that! Only complaint: limited parking, and be careful where you do park. Our group had two balls go off into the parking lot just because barriers were deteriorating, and several other golfers sent balls into the parking lot, and one even had one go across the road. Thankfully no cars got damaged, but the risk is definitely there if you park too close to the course. read more

I played here when I was a little kid. I just came back with my child. Everything looks almost exactly like I remembered it. Some of the moving parts appear not to be working anymore but the game is just as fun as ever. The giant frog, snake, octopus all look the same as I remember them (except now there are some facebook stickers scattered around). Staff - 5/5: pretty chill. easy process here - See salesperson, pay, play, stay outta other customers way. Location - 3/5: alright I'm not gonna lie. On the outside it seems sketchy. Go in, and you can see the structures on the holes have stood the test of time and the elements. But at the same time you can't miss it there on Eglin. Fun Factor: 4/5: it's something to do if you have a few $ in your pocket. I love how you either can start on A or B to prevent traffic. Pricing- 5/5: As I just said, a few dollars goes a long way here. Overall 5/5: I'll never understand how it gets so packed in one afternoon but hey, it gets you out of the house away for a little. This was so fun! It's not near the beach, but it's not too far inland. My husband and I went here twice while in Ft. Walton on vacation. (Ha!) There are 2 courses, and it's $3 per adult per course. The first day, we played both, and on the last round, Chris won a free game (by getting a hole in one on the 18th hole). So the next day, the weather was STILL sucking (just not quite warm enough for the beach), so we went back to use our free pass. We just played one round this time, but I kind of wanted to play the other one again as well. LOL. It was cute and fun! If I lived nearby, I'd go every once in a while.
