We have lived in this house since autumn of 2002; it's a lovely house, built in 1968 (so it is my age, ha, ha), it is roomy and perfect for us. It did not take long to discover that in the colder times, mice lived in it, as well. It was never visible, but I brought two cats to the party, as well, and you know what cats do to show love, don't you? If you don't, you clearly don't know nearly enough people who own cats! They hunt the pests (by their or your perception) and leave the dead critter in your favourite place in the house. I praise them lavishly, give them the appropriate love, then remove the poor thing and toss the body (wrapped in a paper towel) and that is the end of it. For the first, oh, 20 years, there was a balanced that worked well: they moved right out when the outdoor temperature hit 13C or 55F, and remained out of doors until the cold (in late November) sent them back in. They lived typically under the stove, were never seen by us and left no sign they'd been anywhere in the house proper, but sometime in 2022, they stopped living outdoors in the warmer times and became overpopulated. This ties in directly with Siobhán who died in the autumn of 2024 and Luíseach, who is almost 15 -- their mousing days have long since ended. So it reached the point where we had to have a service come in and deal with the meeces (if you are age-appropriate to me, you'll know this expression). I met with several different companies, and we decided on Erhlich. We are very happy we did. They look over the house, give us estimates on different things we need to do to keep the mice out (I had no problem with them so long as they respected the rules, but once that ceased, so did my general hospitality. I have little against most creatures. They did successfully (the second spring) remove the groundhogs (very important) and they removed them alive. I was insistent on this. Mice are all over, and I can assure you, they live in every home in this part of the US...if you don't think soo, you have a good balance and you may never be aware of them. But at some point, this may happen to you. If it does, send for Erhlich. They will do right by you. read more

Don't use them. They had three traps here for five days, and didn't catch one groundhog. Then they sprayed this "lethal" ammonia in spots where they had been activity. 12 hours later, they were back in the same spot. Set us back $850. Waste, read more

done with this company! Not Trustworthy. We have a summer home, every May, we go to open the house, last year was the worst filled with bugs and dead rodents, and feces. The old company would contact us, close the openings, but the obvious sitings. I informed Ehrlich last May, they clearly are not going inside, not doing their job, most people dont care if mice our outside, see.. we pay a lot of money each month- to KEEP them outside. Every month, we receive a report that states "no findings". Well, opened the house this weekend, rodent droppings EVERYWHERE, dead mice, chipmunks, dead.. stuck in places. They never stepped foot inside once again, claimed no evidence of rodents, and my favorite, added service without permission for ticks and mosquitos ... doesn't that make sense? sneak in ticks and mosquitos service which everyone needs in the northeast during winter months especially. Don't use this company. They are not truthful, they don't perform the services you are being billed for. read more

I set aside a Friday morning home from work to meet an Estimator for my home. The man was very nice and we spend's just under an hour walking through all the spaces inside and out that my home might have issues. After a long goodbye I was told they were a bit backlogged so I might not get a call until Monday or Tuesday to set up service. A week later I was reaching out t say I heard from no-one despite emailing back I approved the contract and would like to set up service. The original Estimator and another man called me and promised everything would be set up on Monday. As of Wednesday I still had not heard from anyone. I am calling another Company today, but what a waste of time and effort on both our parts. I am in a large home as well it was an expensive contract you would have thought they would care about getting. I wonder how they pay the Estimator if his time does not procure jobs? read more

What was offered as a free termite inspection turned out to be nothing more than a visual check of the wooden beams in and around the house. After such inspection, the tech surmised that there was no infestation, which was great news but I wanted this done as the house is for sale and the buyers allege there were termites so I asked for his opinion to be put in writing. Three days asking and no response. Finally, a woman called from the company and explained that in the case of a visual inspection, Ehrlich could not put the findings in writing as there could still be infestation but not seen unless you have a wood destroying inspection done. I didn't even ask how much that could cost as I was taken back by such a claim. What's the sense of sending out a person who would not have done the proper and thorough check expected when you call on a pest control company. My thoughts, there must be better service companies out there that would be upfront with their customers. If you choose to have such an inspection done, look for a company with a better reputation and read all reviews as I should have done. read more

Ehrlich provided annual service this year including an emergency calls to eradicate an ant and fly invasion two days before I was leaving for an extended overseas trip. Service (regular and emergency) was prompt, efficient and effective. By the way when I returned there wasn't an ant or fly alive. read more

We have used Ehrlich Pest Control for a few years. We have the annual service contract; which we are very happy with. Our technician, Carlos P., is always punctual, attentive, conscientious and he really takes the time to explain what is going on, and how he is fixing it. He is aware we have pets and young children and uses the least toxic applications possible. Whenever we see a pest or critter we call and Carlos, or another technician, come ASAP. I originally contacted a small family owned pest business from the area. They were never able to clear up my pest and rodent issues at my rental property. I finally decided to call a more reputable company. The Ehrlich Pest Control service tech showed up and fixed it. No issues ever since and its been several years. In my effort to save money I ended up paying more than if I had just called a more experienced company to begin with. After taking a half day off from work to be home for my 1:00 - 5:00 appointment, I received a call from a very nice technician (Carlos) at 3:45. He had just been told about the appointment and couldn't possibly make it today. (not his fault) This is awful service and this company obviously doesn't value it's customers. When I called their phone number, nobody knew what was going on. I was transferred to different departments without any results. I originally made the appointment with Heather. I found out this is an out-of-state location that makes the appointments and she did not book the appointment correctly. My advice is stay with a local company who values their clients. read more
