Loose canon employee- caution as to who this company sends to your house. I've NEVER used this company and I would never use this company after one of their drivers tried to run myself and my kids off the road on rt 4. Traffic was slowly merging and it was my turn to merge. Since the Heritage pest control driver was texting, there was more than enough room to merge. However he became enraged when he finally looked up, so he swerved into the left lane next to me, got within an inch of my vehicle and began launching disgusting fountain sodas bottles at and into my car hitting me and almost my son. I rolled up the windows (it was summer) to protect myself and my kids and called the police- as we were SITTING in traffic next to him. He saw me call (probably assumed the cops) and began driving erratically through traffic and finally up the shoulder until he got off on Morlet. I was so shaken up and was unable to get his plate but I called the company and spoke to the owner who became quite defensive about the situation. The employee's behavior and the response from the owner after being physically assaulted and degraded from his nasty soda bottles is VILE. This unhinged, aggressive, explosive, attacker is the reason why I have a dash cam. I would NEVER EVER willingly bring someone like that around me or my family, let alone share my address with them. Why run from the cops if you're innocent or don't have a history? The response from the owner was appalling and disgusting which speaks as high as his morale. No wonder he hires who he hires. Heritage responded to an urgent call for a hornet nest in my attic last year and I decided to keep an annual contract with them, which includes insects (all bugs) and mice. After I saw mice recently they came and provided that service too. Their technician Isaiah who came today was very polite, professional and knowledgable, and explained everything he was doing. So, I had to call and yell... and I am waiting for someone to come to remove the mouse that I captured!!! We had seen spider mites on around several of our windows and termites near a small tree stump at the back of our yard. My wife and I have been using Heritage Pest Control for approximately 5 years but we will never use them again! We were just notified that one of their technicians tested positive for Covid. We were also informed that he took the test Tuesday and they found out the results Wednesday. They waited until Saturday morning to tell me and my pregnant wife that one of them was positive. After a exchange between me and one of their employees, the employee's response was, "according to the state, we didn't have to tell you." So basically, we can never use them again based on their ethics. read more

The company did not provide the service I had pre-paid for when I signed up for their so called "maintenance contract". I bought the yearly contract not long before the start of the pandemic and lockdown. Instead of honoring the contract once the restrictions were lifted by providing the services I had pre-paid for, they had the audacity of sending me a "renewal" early 2021 claiming they were not under any obligation to complete the work I had pre-paid for because the previous contract had "expired". Other companies with which I have other contracts have extended the original contracts because they understand that when you get pre-paid to do something, you have to do it. There no "expiration" date on pre-paid services. You got the money in advance to do something, completing the job you were paid for is the honest thing to do. If I could give 10 stars I would. This company is very kind courteous and professional!! We had a bed bug issue back in 2014 that were brought in by my dad who stayed in s rehab/ nursing home for an injury. We discovered them on Christmas Eve and had another exterminator come who sprayed the home 4 times and were unsuccessful. Ironically I was watching the show Infested and they had a couple who had the same problem as us. They got rid of all their furniture clothes etc. as did we. End result was he had the house heated. So I mentioned that to my mother because between paying this other exterminator and the loss of all the furniture beds etc we already spent over $7000. I called Heritage they came out right away and did what they had to do to prep the house. They sprayed it all over. Then told us all combustible stuff must be removed and a few other things too such as Cd's DVD's however the TV's and computers we left inside. Prep work was far more easier than what we had to do for the first guy. 2 days after Heritage sprayed the house they sent the guys with the heaters. Every room including bathrooms had its own heater & they were huge. They heated the home to over 150 degrees for 8 hours. The price for all of this was just under $3000. In my opinion if anyone gets bed bugs DO NOT exterminate!!! Forget that Roscoe and freezing and using chemicals. It's not effective. The heat wiped them disgusting things out in 8 hours!!! The price was great. I wish I would have known about the heat in the beginning because we could have saved so much money. We spent over $11K to get rid of these things. Between getting new beds, parlor furniture and paying the other company to come out 4 times then paying Heritage was a waste. So should anyone get these things just forget exterminators that use chemicals and call Heritage and have them heat your house!! We could have spent $3000 instead of $11k if I would have known about the heat when they were first discovered. The owner of this company is a kind, compassionate and extremely patient man. I must have called him 20 times with questions and he answered every one of them and didn't get mad that I kept calling. This is an A+++ company and I highly recommend them!!!! This was such a traumatizing experience for us and we still are fearful of those bugs. You can pick them up anywhere. So be vigilant before you sit anywhere or try on clothes etc and whatever you do NEVER take or buy used furniture from strangers because you never know. So in the future if God forbid this ever happens again I will be calling them. I will also call them should I need an exterminator for anything else. It's hard to find a small business that really cares about helping their customers and not just looking to make a quick buck. So for ALL your extermination needs CALL HERITAGE!!!! I own a condo and I recently discovered that I had a wasp problem in an un used bedroom. I contacted my association who sent out a popular named pest control company who did not seem to be able to address the problem. As a result, I decided to hire a company on my own and at the suggestion of my daughter in law; I went online in search of a pest control company who also specializes in bee/wasp etc. I chose Heritage based on the reviews on several social media sites. The technicians sent to my home arrived timely and prepared to get the job done; meaning ladders, flash lights, caulking chemicals and a host of tools. There was very little insect activity when the technicians arrived but they took sheathing down, inspected windows, gutter etc. and they did all that they could to secure the outside of my home so that wasps would not enter the inside of my home. I really thought that they did a great job and although they could not with certainty guarantee that the pest had been eliminated; so far, so good. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family. I only gave the customer service portion of the rating a 4.5 because I initially had difficulty with the telephone numbers on the web site. read more

These guys are great. We had them come investigate and solve a mouse problem, and signed up for one of their yearly packages. Although it was a bit pricey, they come out at a moment's notice at the sign of any problems with no charge. They are always punctual, friendly, and professional. I would definitely recommend them.
