During the week of April 28, 2014 I noticed that I had huge bite-mark on my left leg (big, very red and itchy) and thought nothing of it. I recall taking my kids to the park that week, so I figured that it was bug/mosquito that I had encountered at the park. That same week while at work, I had two bite marks on my lower back; once again very itchy and had a small bump at the area. I was concern and extremely worried, I checked my bed and nothing. It wasn't until by eldest came home from school and showed me seven (YES 7!!!!) bite marks in one area of his left shoulder. I was in lost for words and knew I needed professional. I did a simple research online and came across MiteBuster. I called on the week of April 28 and was greeted by a nice-caring tone of voice on the other end and asked me to share my concern. As soon as I mentioned the issues with my son's bite marks, she automatically felt that it was bed bug. On April 30 Nick was to arrival and inspect my apartment. Let me just say that Nick was prompt, very professional, kind and considerate to all my ridicules and endless questions I had during the inspection. And let me just add that he is very VERY VERY thorough! He checked my kids room (mattress and headboard, sheets), check the living room (all five cushion, checked the sofa, check the pillows attached to the sofa, check the decorative pillows, then flipped my sectional and checked under each piece of my sofa) next my room (check the comforter, check the sheets, check the pillows, the mattress, check box spring) And then my worse fear took place when Nick showed me the back of my headboard (at the upper corner was some small oval shape things that look like grain of rice and it was a small nest of eggs. So gross, just typing it makes feel sick and brought me back. Eeewwww! I followed Nick instructions and place all items at floor level in plastic bags (including items in my closet that were not in plastic bins) and I used that time to do a HUGE much needed Spring cleaning Thank God Nick called Anthony and we schedule an appointment for my first of three cleaning/inspection on Saturday May 03, 2014. Once again Nick was professional and went right to work. And so did I because I had five loads of laundry to do (Anthony did say 8min in the dryer is enough to kill them, but what can I say! This me! Had to clean out what I can). The most difficult thing after being told that I had bed bugs was: 1) waiting for the day that Nick had to start cleaning the mattress and fumigating the rooms. Two days knowing that I was living with un-wanted guess is sickening. I don't know how anyone can live with bedbugs for such a long period of time. Two weeks is good enough for me. 2) I had to wait for four hours to be away from my house. Four hours is far too long to do laundry. But, it had to be done and it was well worth it. Saturday night of May 03, 2014 I slept on my amazing queen size bed (ohhh how I have miss sleeping peacefully) and woke up with no bite marks. And Im typing this review on Sunday May 4, 2014 and its 5:30pm and if I had been beaten it would have showed up by 11am this morning and NOTHING!!! Knowing you have bed bugs is just plain crazy. You miss enjoying your home, sitting on your sofa and sleeping on your bed and getting ready to start your day or looking forward to a peaceful night sleep after a 12 hour day of work. It's not fun! HOWEVER, the team of Mite Buster has made this ordeal painless. They don't place judgment on you or your family. They just want help you get your life back. Thank you God for such an amazing group of individuals that can actually be call human beings; that they actually care about you and not your money! Some may not want to pay a professional and want to do the task themselves when it comes to bed bugs or any pests control issue. All I can say is...GOOD LUCK WITH THAT (wink) But, at the end of the day you need to ask yourself: HOW MUCH IS YOUR PEACE OF MIND? Did I mentioned that Nick was courteous enough to offer his help with my laundry bags by helping me carry the bags downstairs. Unheard of! I am obsessed with body sprays and noticed that the nights that I did not apply any form of fragrant body lotion or/and body sprays I had very few bite marks. I also, cover as much of my body as possible (ex. at night I slept with sweat pants tucked inside a thick pair of socks and long sleeve shirt tuck inside my sweat pants (if that makes sense).hope this helps. I would highly reccommend MITEBUSTER to everyone dealing with a bedbug problem or any other pest infestation problem. When I was searching for an exterminator I did not have any idea of who to call or what the price would be. I tried dealing with the problem myself and the super called an exterminator he knew to deal with the bedbug and roach infestation. None of that worked. I found Mitebuster online and spoke to them over the phone. They gave me details and thoroughly explained the process and were very patient with me. I spoke to the super and we agreed to have them come inspect. They were honest from the begginning and did not try to rob our money what so ever! I contacted Mitebusters after suspecting the previous company we had come inspect for bed bugs were scamming us. I spoke to a guy named John who was very thorough and answered all my questions regarding our situation. After calling a few other highly rated companies I moved forward with hiring Mitebusters for an inspection which is $75 + tax if you pay by card. Simply put, our tech was thorough, professional, friendly. He searched every inch of the bed frame, headboard, mattress, box spring, and all furniture/frames near the bed. He was just as meticulous with the couch. He found zero traces of bed bugs and no evidence that we had them, even though we were scammed by another fraudulent company that came in with a dog who immediately sat in front of the couch and bed. Needless to say we are bed bug free and I have piece of mind. The questions asked by John have since led me to the realization that I started wearing a new pajama set that I am having some kind of reaction to, which explains why I'm seeing things after waking up. Mitebusters cares about customer service and unlike some other companies they are not out to lie to you about an infestation just to get paid for treatment. I initially called Mitebusters based on a recommendation from a friend. I explained that I had a bug but wasn't sure it was a terminate. I gentleman by the name of Luis came by to assess and confirmed it was termites immediatly upon inspection of the bug. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain how termites do what they do, which I really appreciated. He then scheduled a spot treatment and also some work to the outside with what I believe are some kind of trap. He told me what they were I just forgot. The gents that showed up, right on time I might add, where incredibly nice and attentive. They empathized with the situation and walked me through the plan of action. They finished up the work in a timely fashion, thanked me for me business and went on their way. They were very professional. The gents names were Mark and Tylon, I believe. I signed up with a service contract after doing my research and now have a new found knowledge of how termites work. Figured it's better to spend a little now to avoid spending alot later. Immediately after finishing work on a home with bed bugs, one of MiteBusters' technicians showed up at my house wearing the same clothes he had worn while treating bed bugs. Naturally I was concerned about him bringing bed bugs to my home, so I called MiteBusters and asked to speak to the owner. I was told that the owner would call me back later that day, but no one bothered to call me back. Over the course of a week I called and emailed several times to speak to the owner and was given various excuses as to why neither one of the two owners could call me back. I was so disappointed by the whole experience that I cancelled my account. It's extremely shabby and disrespectful for business owners to be disinterested in responding to their customers. As a loyal customer for over a year, I would at the very least have expected the owners to be interested in retaining my business. Instead, the lack of response I received clearly indicated that MiteBusters are not interested in the concerns of their customers. I do not recommend this business. read more

There are two types of Pest Control Services out there. There is one type that doesn't know what they are doing and use scare tactics to get you to spend more money while doing a crappy job that will take many return visits and then there are people at MiteBuster who send over knowledgeable people who explain things to you without making you feel scared or stupid AND take care of the problem. I had an ongoing issue that was dismissed by other pest control service but when MiteBusters came in they saw the problem and took care of it with two treatments (which I requested after they told me one treatment would work fine) and my house is once again a home. I am forever grateful. You will NOT be disappointed in their services and their kind courteous staff. From the office service people to the exterminators themselves I was VERY pleased. I hope I never have to use them again but if I do I will be calling them and I would recommend to anyone in need of their services. read more

Due to construction in the building during the summer - roaches started to come out all the time especially in the kitchen. Regardless how much I cleaned and tried to solve the problem on my own (unfortunately other residents are not as tidy or diligent). i contacted management and they reached out to MiteBusters. The technician sent was Richard and he did a great job of completing a thorough treatment after I emptied out all kitchen cabinets and closets. He took the time to ask where the problem areas were and treated them appropriately. He continues to be the technician sent to my unit and is always very thorough and professional. Richard even took the time to make sure my 2 dogs were not in the unit while he worked and what steps to take for follow up visits. So far there is a HUGE improvement that I can honestly say gets better every month. I am extremely happy with the treatment used by MiteBusters and their technician Richard. I was losing my mind with a roach problem in an apartment I just moved into but MiteBuster really saved the day. They were very caring and accommodating, and sent a tech out the day after we spoke on the phone. Christian was awesome! He called to let me know when he was on the way, and when he arrived he was SUPER thorough. He pulled up the history of previous times they had exterminated this unit, and knew where the problem areas were. He checked and treated everywhere - pulled out the appliances, and moved stuff so he could get to all their hiding spots. He even unscrewed the electrical outlet covers and found some in there!! He explained what he was doing, how it works, and answered all of my questions. It's now 10 hours later and I can already see them coming out to die. We highly recommend MiteBuster and our technician Diego R.. Our bug and rodent problems were solved quickly and efficiently in a total of 3 visits. They are the most reasonable $$ and responsive pest control company we've encountered. They successfully got rid of pantry moths, carpet beetles, AND mice after we moved into a new home. Diego R. has been our technician twice now and is very friendly & knowledgeable. John W. has been so helpful whenever we call the office for anything- from rescheduling visits to assuring us that their pest control methods are cat friendly, which is very important to us. We strongly recommend getting the pest protection plan. We thought it would be a waste of money and did not get it the first time for our bug problems. Knowledgeable, quick and honest. Came home to find a suspicious looking insect and was happy that MiteBuster answered my call and was available to help with my concern so quickly. They asked me to text over the image of the bug and were able to immediately identify it as a carpet beetle and eased my fears that it was a tick or bed bug. They offered services to rid me of them completely but also explained that for this bug it wouldn't be a necessity and that I shouldn't be too concerned. I was so impressed and appreciative of their honesty and of their knowledge. Though I did not need their services I would recommend them to anyone who needed any sort of pest control and make sure to call them if I do run into an issue again myself. Four stars for Mite-buster . I have been having an absolute nightmare with these icky critters. My entire family has been getting bites, and my kitchen and bathroom seem to always have a trail of ants leading to the water. I was so tired of these things, and couldn't hold out finding a pest place any longer. I really didn't have a lot of money to do this...Which is why I hadn't gotten it done before. Next, their customer service was so great..I spoke to about 4 different employee's in the span of 2 days and everyone was very patient, nice and gave me so much information and answered my questions with ease. They were available and stayed in contact with me to let me know they were on their way. They were on time, came in and did my treatment in my apartment. They are THE CHEAPEST exterminators that service my area, I called about 4 different exterminators and everyone wanted $1000-$3000 and my total treatment came about just a little over a few hundred bucks. Forrod was exceptional! He arrived wearing an industrial mask which was very reassuring during this crisis and God Bless him for his work. He was very courteous and took time explaining everything about the treatment as well as responding to all my questions and requests. I left the house with a sense of confidence. He called to advise when the job was over and the results. He returned the mattresses and box springs onto the beds and left the house very orderly considering all the items and areas he treated. I live in a condo that has a very bad mice infestation. Very grateful to Mitebusters who have employees that really put time and effort into their work. Very late on a Friday after the trucks were done for the day I called Mitebusters in a panic when I saw a live mouse running around. Wonderful, honest company!! I called MiteBuster on a Sunday because my son found a bug that we suspected was a bedbug. Even though it was not during regular business hours they got right back to me to set up an appointment for a free inspection. The inspector that came to my house was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He was able to identify the bug that we caught right away, and happily it was not a bedbug. The inspector still thoroughly checked all 5 of our bedrooms taking the time to explain everything. I get my inspections on a regular basis, if the times are not conducive for me they will work with on time issues or date issues.
