So many cool items that I have not seen anywhere else. And at reasonable prices no less. It is a lovely, curated space. After finding something small that I was sure would bring the recipient joy, I went to pay. The shopkeeper (shop owner?!) was so kind and made the extra effort to package my small gift with the utmost of care and attention to detail. Absolutely a delight, I am already looking forward to returning one day.

Based on what my husband and I saw it did look like they worked independently, and it said nothing in the description about that so we trusted what we saw.  I understand it costs money to have someone pick up the chair for a return, however this seems highly unfair when the listing made it seem smoother as well as things working independently when reclining each and they don't - they recline at the same time. This feels like terrible marketing and customer service to not make it right or attempt to. Do not buy this product if you want a smooth recline and are looking for the leg and head recline to be independent of one another. It's not comfortable. The only thing it's got going for it is it's beautiful. I wish I would have never bought this because now my only option is returning with a 50% restocking fee. I purchased this chair with GoFundMe money so this is no small price tag for me and it seems like terrible customer service and marketing to not make this right.

We were having a great day shopping around and chatting when one employee came up to our group and made a sarcastic comment. My friends brushed him off and I didn't hear so he made sure to come up behind me and an inch away from my face loudly repeat it. I felt extremely unsafe with how he entered my personal space when I was distracted and my guard was down- I will never return to this store and urge other women to do the same.

On…read moreChristmas Eve, the owner denied me and my service animal entry, citing "too many bags and an aggressive dog." I had two shopping bags and my service animal, who has never exhibited any aggression. I understand that the store may have limited space. Had the owner respectfully asked me to leave my bags behind the counter or wait to enter due to crowding, I would have been happy to comply. Especially since I noticed another dog in the store. Instead, he dismissed me in a confrontational manner without offering any reasonable alternatives. Before leaving, I informed the employee that my dog is a service animal and that it is illegal to deny entry to customers with service animals. In response, he became defensive and raised his voice. As I exited the store, I overheard him telling other customers--who had witnessed the incident--that my dog was aggressive. This claim is completely false. My service animal has accompanied me for nearly a decade and has never once displayed aggression. It appears the owner discriminated against my service animal based on his perceived breed, as he is a pit mix. Such behavior is both unacceptable and unlawful, and I intend to hold this store accountable for this disgusting incident.

I walked out with two: the first, I walked right to within about 30 seconds of entering the store, and it was magically on sale! The second, I discovered as I browsed through the store so full of gorgeous finds, I could have stayed there all day. I didn't need that second one, but it was so beautiful, I was determined to find a place for it in my home, and I did - it is the perfect addition to my existing bed design. Aside from the stunning pieces in the store (absolutely everything is drool-worthy), the service was impeccable. I was immediately helped by one of the gentlemen working that particular Saturday afternoon. You know when a salesperson strikes just the right balance between being very helpful and leaving you be? That was him. His colleague was equally great. It would be easy for the salespeople in a store like this to be snotty at worst, and stand-offish at best. Given the population that likely comprises the majority of their clientele, this wouldn't be at all surprising. But despite walking into the store in workout clothes with pillow creases and smeared masacara on my face because I'd come straight from a massage up the street - let's just say, I've seen better days - they couldn't have provided better, more genuine VIP service. I like nice things and I LOVE great service, so I will most certainly return the next time I'm looking for something extra special and luxurious for my home (or someone else's)!

Long story, but Chris closed his Marin store and had Brian build the last several sofas. All I can say is that the craftsmanship is ridiculously good. For LESS than the price that I would pay, for a 10 foot long, elegant contemporary sofa from Restoration Hardware, Brian exactly matched the design, but gave me the custom dimensions I needed. Oh, one more thing. If I would've ordered it from Restoration Hardware, I would've gotten a sofa that was "Made in China". Furniture Envy is made right here in the Bay Area. I don't know how they do it and make any money with their more than affordable prices and exceptional quality. Looking forward to transferring the long relationship I had at California Sofa to Furniture Envy.

I ordered their napkins as a gift for a friend. I received the FedEx box, finally, and inside the…read morenapkins rolled up with sticker stuck to them. Not their own box or no plastic sleeve around them. I looked at one and they are extremely thin. There is no way I would use these on a tabletop to have a drink set on. It would be like using nothing. I looked up their return policy. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment minus any applicable processing fees. Returned items must be sent with proper postage, packages with postage due will be returned to sender. After receiving, I went back to their website to check the reviews of this item. Guess what? They don't have any reviews so I guess you cannot see if you were buying an insufficient product or not. Lesson learned, I will never order from this company again.
