Absolutly the worst. I booked an appointment for permanent makeup (with a student) and when I got into the room- there was NO instructor with this poor student who was VERY new. I knew full well the service would be performed by a student and I had no issues with that at all but I full on expect that an instructor will be watching over her at all times! This is, after all PERMANENT and on my FACE. I've gotten sevice a done her before and the instructors all watching over students who are just performing MANICURES! But nobody is watching this girl ink someone forever?! The brows needed up u ever and misshaped. They faded after only a month and nobody I spoke to there about my concerns could come up with any reason as to why there was no instructor watching over this (obviously) very nervous student. I will never be back. read more

I rarely write a review however I felt I did not receive fair treatment when at this business the past two sessions. The front clerk Melissa made an error in their computer when arranging my last service. I reached out the day I believed to be my date as I had not received a confirmation call as usual and was rudely told I had missed the date two weeks earlier. When I said this didn't make sense as the treatment schedule was clear for the date I had written down but she continually pushed blame back on me. After following up with their manager Ray I was rebooked into my last appointment. While waiting after again being checked in by Melissa I was kept waiting 20 minutes and heard muffled whispering between my technician and Melissa. In the room I was told I would need to cover half the treatment, that my package would not cover it. My package was a series of 5 with 2 free touch ups. In my opinion they were trying to keep from providing their free sessions. I wouldn't trust this company, I don't believe they operate in good faith. Pay attention what you buy from them! read more

History

Established in 1989.

We first opened our doors in 1989, when founder and entrepreneur Inge Patton created a facility with a vision of providing the highest quality of education to the Esthetic and Beauty Industry in Canada. Drawing on the high standards of European Beauty Regulations Inge developed in Germany, Inge's vision began to realize soon after her arrival in Canada. This vision ultimately resulted in us becoming one of only five schools in Canada to currently hold the prestigious CIDESCO certification, the world standard for beauty and spa therapy education. We are still a family owned and operated company, excited to welcome new students to monthly start dates for both esthetics and medical esthetics programs. Our promise to you is to provide you with the support and education you need to be excel in all the skills you can learn from us. Meet the Manager: Melissa C.

Melissa began her career in the industry working at various beauty counters in retail chains and managing a spa. During her time working in the retail market, she gained extensive knowledge in visual merchandizing, retailing and marketing. Over the years, her Interior Design background has fueled a passion for graphic and web design, ultimately leading her to the role of e-Commerce Manager at PROBEAUTY Group where she is in charge of online marketing and merchandizing. Melissa works alongside the Marketing Team at PROBEAUTY Group aiding in event planning, advertising, graphics, as well as product research and development.

I had purchased an IPL facial from this place on groupon. I would not recommend this place at all. I have had a few of these done at different places before so I am familiar with what should happen. It did nothing for me from this place. I let a few days pass to see if I would see a change and nothing happened. I called in and spoke with the general manager to let her know that the service wasn't up to par, it was like I had nothing done at all. I wanted another one done for free as the first one did not work and she offered one at a lower price. Why should I have to pay for something again that just didn't work the first time? I obviously paid for it. Here is a tip to the general manager Linda, take a picture before you do the work so when a customer like me says nothing happened u can compare and see for yourself. Save your money people, their services suck and they aren't willing to compensate!!! I'm appalled that they are willing to lose customers so easily! read more

I first began my journey as a student at EIE MediSpa 9 years ago. since then I have continued to upgrade there over the years. Just the fact that I have this school listed on my resume has opened many doors for me. Since then I have changed careers and became a loyal client, as have several of my friends and previous clients. The staff is always friendly, and make you feel like part of the family. The service is professional and I actually get to have a conversation while receiving services....not like those other chop shops you go to where they don't even look at your face. I would recommend EIE MediSpa to any of my friends and family in a heartbeat! read more

I have been going to EIE for a tattoo removal. The staff is absolutely fabulous and very accommodating. I have learned about some of the other things they do at the centre and have now had several sessions. I had my nose waxed and I didn't even know that was a thing! I have had henna eyebrows and they last a long time. Now I am in the process of having Eurowave treatments. I love EIE Esthetic & Laser Training Centre. I came in for a tour of the facility as I am interested in taking thier permanent makeup course. I was warmly welcomed by the front staff and had all my questions about the course answered by Rae. I highly recommend checking out this school if you are looking for a career change! Can't wait to see what other courses I can take. read more
