She went too low and close to the lid and I have two red burns on my brow line. It's incredibly painful and I have to take Advil to get the swelling down and be able to sleep. I don't know if it is going to scar. Don't let them near any sensitive areas! Not only that but the lady from the front desk brought a man around to the area where I was getting my brows waxed so that the woman doing my brows could answer a question about prices while I am leaning back and have wax on my brows. That was so awkward and unprofessional. I wish I could give lower than a one star rating for this experience.

The booking process was simple, just called on a Friday to book for Saturday morning. I arrived the next morning for my spa treatments with Cynthia. She was bubbly, professionally dressed and very welcoming. She did a skin analysis and offered me tea while she prepped the treatment room. She was courteous when I asked if I could substitute another service for my manicure as I have gel nails, and she offered to do a one hour facial instead of the package-standard 30 mins. While I waited, the stylists were arriving, and it was a bit of a joke. They walked in, none wearing make-up or with their hair done, standing around chatting with each-other loudly, on the floor. (Coming from the Beauty industry, all of these are massive no-no's and would never fly during an Aveda brand visit) I went in for my treatments (Facial, Massage & Pedicure) and was so pleased. Cynthia was fabulous, with flawless technique and created a relaxing atmosphere. The only downside was I had to be sent out with wet toes as there was another client arriving, so my pedicure became smudged. Would suggest a lounge area with nail dryers. As I was leaving to pay, I saw that the stylists from earlier had spent their morning dolling themselves up (all now had makeup and perfectly coiffed hair) but were still clustered all around the desk, chatting. I asked for my jacket and was waved away to the direction of the closet... there's 5 people standing around, and not one could be bothered to grab my jacket. I would definitely go back to see Cynthia, especially for a facial, as it was AMAZING. If you go here, ask for her specifically as she is very knowledgable, and a pleasure to deal with. I was completely put off by the hair stylists however and would never book to have my hair done there.

I'm impressed with their usage of advanced technology. It's fascinating to see what we can do to help us age gracefully or to improve our personal imperfections. You can also purchase quality skin products and makeup on your way in our out. I was fortunate to buy the VIP membership last night which is a great deal. Not only do you get deals on services but you get different services included example; microdermabrasion, Blu U, unlimited proellixe, etc. The staff are friendly, informative, and approachable. This isn't the kind of spa I'm used to visiting so that kind of put me in a bit of an odd mood setting foot in the door, but given that I visited their open house I was happy to learn more about all the different products and services they offer and I think I might take advantage of one or two in the future. The makeup artist who provided me a makeup consultation was really quite helpful. I find the Jane Iredale products to be of very high quality and that is quite good. The rooms seem clean and well appointed for the types of services that they offer. Staff all seemed really happy to be at their jobs.

Shocking how bad the haircut was and then the Owner kicked me out, with wet hair, because I complained about the cut not being what I asked for and asking for my haircut to be fixed. (See pics) William the Owner accused me of belittling the staff and was verbally abusive toward me. That is not who I am and I did not speak badly to anyone. And in case anyone says otherwise, the entire interaction was captured on video when I documented the haircut. The Owner is highly unprofessional and has no business ethics. Apalling behavior.
