This is what we left with - they thought this was a good "final" gel mani. And I sat there waiting for my turn and about 15 min before they closed (my daughter was almost done) a man asked if I was ready for my gel mani. I told him nevermind. We won't be back here even though it's right down the road from our new apt.

I get my nails done about every 2-3 weeks and each time I have changed up the length, style and shape of my nails. The decor and style of the salon is very cute and up to date. Everything I have seen has always been clean and sanitized properly. There are numerous nail tech tables and pedicure chairs. There has never been that long of a wait, even on busy days. They have televisions on the wall but they normally are playing really good music in the background and just have standard screen saver photos on the TV's. I think this is actually refreshing because you can have conversations with the people around you and the techs. There are different options for pedicures and the prices are reasonable and standard for the profession. If you are in the area this is a nail salon you should try.

Salon also does not have any blooming gel or charms, which would've been nice to know since that's what my inspo pic included. They mainly do acrylic and they have no ventilation in the salon and nothing to catch the acrylic powder so it's everywhere in the salon very hard to breathe. Wish I would've known this was going to be $200 beforehand as well that's insane. Also, there's a massive communication barrier. They couldn't understand a single word I was saying, and I could not understand a single word they were saying as well.

She runs a great business, provides excellent results, and is pleasant to talk to. The facility is clean, beverages are offered, and the facility is spacious and pretty. She remembers me from prior visits which makes me feel valued, as does the receptionist. The color selection is large, including new seasonal colors just added! My difficult nails simply look better and last longer than other places. I've had GelX, Acrylic, and Dip from Phoebe as well as pedicures from the other techs, and love it all every time. The massage chairs are comfortable and relaxing. A nail tech and pedicure tech will work on both at the same time to allow me to get in & out of there quicker. This seems to be a Texas practice, it was new to me when I moved here and I do like it to help manage my busy working mom schedule. When I have the time, I may reserve my nails separate from my pedi to be able to fully enjoy the massage chair as needed to turn it off during any detailed nail work. My first summer with Phoebe included many different colors and designs on my nails. She never disappointed and always checked to make sure I liked it! My 4th of July nails were my absolute favorite with blue & red nails and a few well placed stars. Phoebe also did marbling for me one time, and I was truly amazed at her artistry. So beautiful. The area is growing rapidly, so recommend making an appointment, but walk ins are welcome. I REALLY appreciate that I can text to schedule an appointment as it is hard to make calls during the day. Believe it or not these or NOT gel but regular polish. Bi is experienced in massage therapy and did an amazing leg and foot massage which is important for me being a diabetic as I retain fluid in my limbs. There was a very kind doctor who was also a regular customer, and I repeatedly overheard staff specifically discussing the fact that she was a doctor and using that as a reason to upsell and charge her more. They would encourage more alcohol, extend her massage, add hot stones or other extras, and then increase her bill. From the conversations I personally overheard, it was clear they viewed the fact that she was a doctor...and therefore assumed she had money..as an opportunity to get more out of her. That completely changed the way I view this business. Offering an additional service with a clearly stated price is one thing. Privately discussing how much more you think you can get someone to spend because of their profession or perceived wealth, while assuming your customers cannot understand you, is something entirely different. After hearing these conversations myself, I no longer trust their billing or upselling practices. If you choose to go here, I would pay very close attention to exactly what you agree to and what you are ultimately charged.
