Amazing sauce just the right amount of cheese and spice. Their burgers are already amazing but their wings are just as great

Always a vibe here which is why I frequent it when I can, its not close to where I live by any means but when I'm in the area I'm gonna stop for some food. Matt is great and the rest of the staff is awesome as well. Everyone greets you with a smile and willing to help. Great customer service!

After some shopping in Westwood we were both starving and didn't want a formal sit down meal so we came to Eighty-Twenty. Service was helpful as we had never been there and I always have so many questions when ordering. The place was absolutely packed at 6pm on a Thursday so thankfully we were able to get a table to eat there. The smash burgers are on the smaller side for sure. As I was glad I ordered a double patty instead of a single. The burger comes only with their sauce and onions on it for $11 which was a little pricey but the burger was not greasy and deliciously crisp so worth it in my opinion. I usually am extremely picky with sauces their special house sauce is sweet but peppery and I actually really enjoyed it. The sweet potato fries were good just a bit soggy so they needed to be a bit crispier. The wings were als great, good flavor, moist and tender meat. I will definitely come back next time I am in the area.

Visited Eighty Twenty for lunch on Sunday. You place your order at the counter and the staff delivers the food to your table. I got the triple XXX burger, which comes with three smashed burger patties and three slices of cheese. I also got a side of curly fries and cheese sauce. The burger was tasty, very much like a burger I would make at home using 80/20 ground beef from the grocery store. It also had a lot of caramelized onions. The bun was a bit small, everything was spilling out. I did like the thinly sliced pickle chips it came with. It was a decent burger, but a bit pricey for something I can make myself easily.

Purists may want to try the double smasher on a first visit, for an impressively juicy sandwich. But the brand extensions are worth trying too, including the Hot Shot sandwich with chipotle sauce. The curly fries are popular, but I also enjoyed a less expected accompaniment on one occasion, the matzoh ball soup. All three visits have featured the owner or manager mingling with regulars and rookies, giving it a fun Triple-D vibe.

The fries were amazing. So crispy and fresh. I loved the mandy sauce too. I could put that on everything. It tastes almost like Big Mac sauce to me but better. The smasher was good but just super salty. I'd like to come back and try it again because it was too salty, like, it made me uncomfortable salty. Maybe it's not always that salty? Dipping it in the mandy sauce helped cut the saltiness a lot. The service was phenomenal. That alone is reason to come again and again. I felt so welcome and I loved watching how well they treated everyone. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. There are plenty of tables and it's well organized and neat. It's a well run place. I would definitely come back again.

Stumbled upon this place while in Westwood. The service and the food was amazing. I'm glad we found this place because it has to be one of my new favorite spots! They also have a section in the back where you can get free water and a ton of different sauces. The burgers were so flavorful and the wings were delicious as well. We also got a side of onion rings, cheese curds, and fries.

Eighty Twenty Burger Review - Two Trips, One Obsession We've been to Eighty Twenty twice now--and we're already planning our third. This isn't fast food. Everything's made to order, and you can taste the quality. First Visit: We started modestly with a single and then a double burger. Both were juicy, flavorful, and thoughtfully stacked. The real standout? The onions. Slightly caramelized and packed with flavor, they add just the right punch and pair perfectly with the rich beef. Second Visit: We went big with the triple burger, and while it was delicious, we'll ask for less cheese next time. Triple patties and triple cheese made it a bit too messy, and honestly, the meat and onions are the show's real stars. Cutting back on cheese lets those flavors shine without getting lost. Sides & Sips: The sweet potato fries are crisp and golden--seriously hard to stop eating. The green apple soda is a fun, tart surprise and super refreshing. Dessert: While waiting, we grabbed the cookie, and wow--the sea salt on top makes all the difference. Served with cartons of milk a flash from the past to grade school, on the side Gooey, soft, and perfectly balanced. The churros are also good. Final Word: Eighty Twenty takes its time, and it's worth every minute. If you appreciate fresh, thoughtfully made food where flavor matters, this place hits the mark. Come for the burgers--stay for the fries, dessert, and that addictive onion magic.

If you're craving a juicy burger, this is your place. Friendly service, delicious food. What more can you ask for?

After a long-awaited visit, I finally made my way to Eighty Twenty Est. 2021, and let me tell you, the hype is real. This spot is a hidden treasure for smash burger enthusiasts. But before diving into the culinary goodness, let's chat about the vibe. Owner Matt has a magnetic personality that seems to fill the room, almost as if his charm is infused into every bite of food. Now, here's how it went down. We kicked things off with their signature double smasher--a beef patty topped with Vidalia onions, American cheese, and their special Mandy sauce, all nestled on a Martin's potato roll. Then, we couldn't resist the porky: another beef patty, Vidalia onions, American cheese, rich pork belly confit, and more Mandy sauce, served on a fluffy Martin potato roll. We paired these flavorful creations with skin-on curly fries that were cooked to perfection. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavor. To wash it all down, I was thrilled to discover they serve Pennsylvania Dutch Birch beer and Dr Pepper Zero Sugar. Not exactly your everyday beverage choices, but they hit the spot. As we indulged, the festive Christmas decorations added to the warm atmosphere, and having "Elf" playing in the background was a charming touch. Who doesn't enjoy a little Will Ferrell while munching on a burger? Despite being completely stuffed, we spotted the Wednesday special--dollar wings. We couldn't resist and decided to give the teriyaki chicken wings a chance. Made with soy, sake, ginger, and garlic, they did not disappoint. Matt and his crew are running a fantastic business right in the heart of Westwood, NJ. Their kindness and enthusiasm shine, and, as a bonus, they're dog lovers, which just makes everything better. I'm already plotting my return to explore more of their menu, especially breakfast on weekends from 7 AM to 11 AM. Can't wait.

    CHEESE CURDS SPICY SMASHER PORKY

Have had Eighty Twenty on my radar since they opened and finally had the opportunity to try them! I ordered food to go and it was freshly made, ready in about 10 minutes. The burgers were great, though next time I'd likely order double versions since they are a bit on the smaller side. My partner and I agreed we liked the Spicy Smasher a little more than the Porky. Spicy Glizzy was solid, we liked that the goodies were actually inside the meat. Curly fries were really good (solid portion size for the price) and the cheese curds were excellent too. We liked that the cheese curds came with hot peppers and gravy (which, by the way, pro tip is to dip the burgers/hot dog in the gravy too it was SO GOOD). We also ended up getting the fried honey bun for dessert. It was delightful and reminded me of funnel cake. Service all around was really nice and friendly there. Will absolutely be back, and would certainly recommend you try it out for yourself!!!

Highly recommended. A classaic burger joint with an upbeat atmosphere and a personable cashier. There are seats for multiple small groupings. The food I have to say, was unexpectedly a great treat. It was plentiful for the price and full of flavor. The popcorn chicken went great with the sauce and the curly fries paired well with the gravy. Their burgers tasted great but were a little bit salty. Definitely would come back again.

    CHOCOLATE CHIP W/ SEA SALT
    Theresa M.

Burgers are really tasty but definitely on the smaller side. You either need a double patty or two burgers in my opinion. Staff is SUPER friendly and bubbly and the restaurant is really nice as well. Ambiance is very casual. Great place to grab a bite with friends or take your kids after practice. Chocolate chip cookies are a MUST- they come out freshly made to order. 6 cookies for $15 AND they give you milk to dip the cookies. Honestly, I'll come back for the cookies alone.
