We have had Jamin work on two properties for us and we've been more than happy with everything he's done. He's done carpet laying, floor re-tiling (both linoleum and stone tile work), has installed a granite counter top in one kitchen as well as using ceramic tiles to create custom counters & back splashes in another. He's tiled our bathrooms, repaired drywall, created a beautiful stone fireplace facing and hearth in one home while creating a fire-safe slate wood stove pad in the other. He capped everything off with top tier painting and finishing. All while doing a terrific job of keeping us in the loop and well-informed throughout each of the projects. Along with his skills in home remodeling, Jamin also assisted us with miscellaneous other projects that an older couple (which we are) would have found very difficult if not impossible to do on our own. He was conscientious and worked with us to get the most bang for our buck while still maintaining quality as an end goal. We would both highly recommend Jamin for any projects. Used them on a rental remodel to fix it up for me to move into. Needless to say if I am going to be living in a house I'm a little more picky about the quality of the work. I can happily say that the quality of the work was top notch. In fact, I had a previous contractor working on the house and Jamin & crew had to fix a lot of what had already been done. It's crazy to think about but Jamin & Crew actually seemed more concerned with the quality of the final result than I was -- and I can be picky. Also, very good communication and they always let me know where we were at and what I could expect each step of the way in terms of timelines and progress. Always cleaned up and left place tidy when finished. I guess the most important question is would I work with them again? The answer is absolutely yes! It can be a pain in the butt to find a good contractor so its a tremendous relief to have found this one. Peace of mind is priceless. Job well done. read more

Jamin Mattila was absolutely the best. I hired him to remodel my bathroom.The project went exactly as he said it would, with no added cost or time.The tile work was beautiful and far better than anyone else's I have seen. Not only that, Jamin did much more than we had originally discussed, just because he felt that was necessary to do the job right. He oversaw both an electrician and a tub refinisher, asking one of them to come back when he felt their work was not up to par. We hired Jamin for a bathroom renovation that turned into so much more when significant water damage was discovered during the demo. It was daunting news, but Jamin took care of everything. I've worked with quite a few tile installers over the years and it's been hard to find someone that I trust to get the job done, until now. I have a few rental properties that have been remodeled the past two years and Jamin has always been available for me to consult with and get ideas on what to do with my bathroom remodels. After water damage under my floor and under my siding, he replaced insulation, opened the siding and repaired the sheathing and water barrier and then inserted new courses of Hardi-plank siding.
