I've used Best Electric a number of times and will only use them exclusively. They've done projects necessary at my house but why they're so standout is what they do in the community and for the less fortunate. In 2020, my best friend's 13 year old son tragically lost his life, and I had to go in with restoration experts to desperately try to get the house not to be the scene she had left when she was able to return. During the restoration process we discovered a number of plumbing and electrical issues and me and some friends desperately called whatever professionals we could. (The plumber I knew who I used to work with responded "I don't work on weekends unless I have to" when we were having a 13 year old's funeral the next day, but that's another story / review. We were *paying* people, not asking for anybody to do their jobs for free but Best Electric swooped in and took care of everything gratis when they heard of the tragedy and this mother's grief. One of the young men doing the labor was also an amazing talented musician and wrote a song for the young man who lost his life. It's coming up on Mother's Day, and I will never forget Best Electric's contribution to healing above and beyond just being stellar at the service they provide.

They knew in advance that that is all that I needed done, and yet they sent two technicians on a job. The technicians were done in 10 minutes,. When they showed me the bill, I was shocked to see they were billing me for 2 hours, times two technicians! The bill was for more than $360! I complained, called their manager, who was very dismissive and did not want to back down, although I had screenshots of when I had called him in the morning (because they were late coming in) and knowing that it was now still LESS than ONE hour since then. The manager ended up lowering the bill to charging me for "only" two hours on one technician and one hour for the second technician, so the bill came down to $260. For the work that took them 10 minutes. I have used Best Electric in the past, and this had never happened before. I was always treated and charged appropriately. After today, I will never call them again.

I have had Service Pros out here numerous times to repair gurgling. That said I have had 5 other plumbers out to look and not one of them agree that the vents are the problem, meanwhile the damage in my crawlspace is getting worse all the time and it's a type of damage that they say the don't cover but it wouldn't be there had they fixed it in 2024 when I called them at first or even the second time I called them. I do have pics from before the issue happened. I have 2 use them bc of a home warranty that I have. They also came out to fix the a/c & it needed replaced. They did that but the company man fell through the ceiling. They were supposed to fix it and still have not finished the work.Sadly, I have no paperwork because both Service Pros & AHS (the home warranty) refuse to give me anything to prove they have been here or receipts for the work so that I can get the a/c warranty or have any evidence that they were here & I have asked several times. They also caused an extra service payment because I did a recall for the plumbing that they didn't fix and they changed it to electrical and said they changed 4 gfci and they did not change any of them because there was no problem with them, they were called for plumbing. I can't talk to the boss on the phone because he is mean and insulting. I have recorded calls to prove what I am saying, but no paperwork because they refuse. I have photos that I have been provided and I have photos where we first bought the house that show that there was no damage, taken 2024. So it is getting worse I would like them to fix the issue of whatever is causing the problem and I'd like receipts for their visits and I would like them to let AHS know they did not change the gfci, paint the ceiling they fell through and make this right. I would also like the damage caused by not fixing it since 2024 fixed.

I made a comment to someone else's review on FB that I had a similar experience of not getting called. He legit called me a liar publicly and showed a screenshot where he called me. He said he would be at our house within an hour and was then 2 hours late. Gave us our estimate, we were happy with the price, and said he would be back between 6-8am the following day. That night he pocket dialed our house multiple times at 1am. I got up and was ready by 545am for his potential arrival. It wasnt until 11am someone named Sara called to say he was late but would definitely be by before 1pm. We waited, multiple phone calls later, with no answer, he never showed up. We are so disappointed in a fellow veteran for such lack of care to make a phone call or answer the phone. My breaker panel smells like electrical burn, there are scorch marks coming from the main breaker and this man told us to put a smoke alarm next to it and wait for him. Then he never showed up. Very disappointed. Do NOT reccomend.
