Hi everyone this is the best I can do due to my awful experience I had been seeing Dr Lee for more…read morethan four years now after being under her care and treatment my teeth started shifting asked her she said it was nothing I stated to get worry I could see myself getting worst came back to her asked her again it was nothing I had a gum disease that's stared to get worst I was ready for braces and risking my teeth I asked her about it no I was fine I decided to get a different opinion and I was in for the mess of my life at this time I'm paying six thousand for braces she didn't only shift my teeth she made two of my teeth turn back the front ones I had a huge bacteria that wasn't getting treated bone disease was progressing I need a 11 thousand dollar surgery to obtain both graft implants wisdom teeth removal you name it all she didn't do her work right she was waiting for me to lose my teeth to offer denture i started getting very depressed over this horrible experience I also don't have the money to get none of this treatment I had to get another job insurance won't cover I pray none ever get through this I really have to warm people about it I can't be you can't trust a periodontist but I can warm people about this practice research all reviews sometimes doesn"y really help but I really hope this horrible experience can help someone I'm trying to find out if I can sue I think something can be done about my emotional trauma and loss.

My insurance began in the beginning of this month. I called to schedule my first appt and was informed by the secretary that I was not on the roster. I called my insurance after and confirmed I was indeed on the roster. I asked insurance to talk to the dental office and they said they can't because they are an in call only center, but they can accept the call. I call Gentle Smiles to inform them and the secretary goes off on a tangent speaking over me trying to explain situation to tell me she can't call on behalf of every patient, not even listening to what I'm saying even though I verbalized multiple times I confirmed with my insurance I am on the roster. She then yelled over the phone "WE DO NOT CALL ON BEHALF OF THE PATIENTS YOU CAN WAIT UNTIL NEXT MONTH" and hung up in my face. Called the insurance again who confirmed for the second time I was on the roster. Called back Gentle Smiles Designs to find that there is a difference in delta care (what I was saying) and delta care flagship and that's why they couldn't find my name. So I suffered at these rude responses because of a misunderstanding. I will admit I don't work in insurance and didn't know there was a difference. Instead of the secretary thinking that I could have been messing up the two because once again I don't work in health insurance and didn't know there was a difference, she dismissed my concerns in a condescending manner to paint me out to be the sole person at fault in this misunderstanding. "First of all you weren't on the roster." "First of all delta care and delta care flagship are two different things." This was about 10 minutes after she hung up in my face exclaiming that I need to wait until next month. All to, I can only assume, prevent herself from feeling at fault in anyway for what happened. I was so turned off by my experience I found myself thinking "do I want to give business to a place that employs someone who handled something this poorly and then couldn't take responsibility in any way shape or form?" I believe the way she handled this reflects extremely poorly on the business and who they choose to employ but the dentist seems knowledgeable which is the only reason I haven't canceled my initial appointment. I feel bad for the dentist because I can't imagine how many patients this secretary drove away with her rude attitude and defensive nature

He was so thorough, caring, and truly helped me love my smile again with alittle bonding fix! Their receptionist/dental assistant, Emily, is soooo sweet and detail oriented! She was a pleasure to work with when it came to my bookings. Cynthia, their dental hygienist, gave me the best cleanings I have ever had. She is very meticulous and also a sweetheart! The office is very clean and inviting, they even have an adorable turtle in the waiting area named Floss Never thought I would like going to the dentist, but I truly enjoy coming here and seeing all of the staff. My significant other had chipped FRONT tooth and this was not fixed after three visits which were scheduled because of other non-essential areas on the mouth that were addressed first. When I called to ask about this, as he has other medical problems I was told that I'm no longer to call and inquire about his treatment plan even though I'm on the HIPAA form. I have never dealt with unprofessionalism of this magnitude. I certainly do not recommend.

I was damn near extorted out of an additional fifteen hundred dollars. I have dental insurance which had covered my visit fully. I was told that no matter what the insurance paid, that I would have to pay an additional fifteen hundred dollars. THERE WAS NO MISUNDERSTANDING!!!!! I had three people pounding it in to my head! After speaking with my carrier, I found out that JFD is under contract with them(which I knew) and had NO BUSINESS demanding one more dime(which I didnt know). They (both the "Dr" and the front desk) made absolutely sure that I was aware of the additional charges before I walked out the door. Those poor girls are now part(probably involuntarily since they most likely need the job) of a conspiracy to commit improper transactions against the consumer. After finding out that shady demands were made I quite frankly didn't even want to go back but I needed to get the job done. I just wanted to get away from them as fast as humanly possible.I felt that I would have been scammed if I hadn't had a family member who straightened me out with regard to how dental insurance works. I spoke directly with the "Dr" on the matter who suggested that I don't "badmouth" him on social media. That was his concern. I kept my promise until today. The work has failed less than a year later. The margins are so bad(two outside reliable dentists agree)that now it will be several thousands of dollars to repair/replace the work from September a year ago. Despite a combination of outrages and the feeling of being SCREWED by substandard work I kept my promise to not say anything ....until now. I was promised that the work would last me the rest of my life. That promise was broken. That means all bets are off with regard to me "just don't badmouth me". I'll take a lie detector test to confirm this entire story. I guarantee he won't. Of course if JFD would would like to dispute this story they can try but that would be a huge mistake. Take the hit of this review and move on would be my advice. If JFD would lIke to cover my upcoming expenses as a result of their failure I'd be amenabe to that. Off to Trenton Monday. Terrible terrible terrible across the board. The dentist in the family has failed me big time. Thanks for nothing(except a four grand bill) If I HAD paid the additional fifteen hundred without knowing what I now know, I'd have called the police to see if fraud was a viable complaint. With several decades of solid service, his experiential skills are unquestionable. I never have concerns that he's "upselling" me on services I don't seek. He explains things well and gives sound advice. Sitting in his chair is a unique experience, facing a window overlooking a lovely yard with a view of nature and wildlife. It's a HUMAN and comforting experience. When you call, you speak to an engaged, knowledgeable person. Appointments are easy, records are available, care is sincere. I never feel rushed, pressured, dismissed or unreasonably charged. You always deal with his staff and never a third party interloper, bombarding you with annoying spam. 6-stars!
