These past few times, they've done what they should have: they acknowledged me fairly quickly, took care of my need, However, they didn't have a great attitude about it. The workers were younger and didn't seem happy to be there. Like I said, they did their jobs, but sure not with a smile. I also had to come here because UPS declined to deliver a package from Amazon to me for some reason. They took it to this store instead. They didn't leave any notice at my house; the only way I found out was through Amazon, and then I had to come here to get the package. Not sure what the issue was, but it would have been nice for them to deliver the package or to let me know somehow the package was at the store. Not sure what's going on here. Not my favorite place, but they are certainly "good enough." Previous review: Folks were courteous; I hardly waited in line; they printed out a receipt without my needing to ask for it. My wife dropped off a package here earlier that was too heavy for her to bring in, and they gladly came out and got it for her. Talk about over and above! The only reason I'm holding off on giving the fifth star is because I haven't used these guys but twice so far. However, both times thus far have been very good. They keep it up, and the fifth star is inevitable.

I noticed Sunday that the package had not been picked up, it didn't have any scans from FedEx. So, Monday April 7th around 9:00 am shortly after Mail Central was open, I went in to ask Troy (the store owner) why my package had not been picked up. She said I must have dropped off later than I thought, I said I know I dropped the package off around 11:00 am. Then she went on to blame FedEx for not picking it up. As the store owner she took no accountability for the package not getting shipped nor did she offer any ideas on how she would fix the error to make sure it would not happen again. I left the package with her hoping Friday was a fluke and that she would make sure my package would be picked up on Monday afternoon at their normal FedEx pick up time. Monday came and went with no FedEx scan on the tracking. So, on Tuesday April 8th I went in to Mail Central again to see what had happened. Troy was not at the store, so I talked to the employee on duty. She stated that all the FedEx packages were picked up. I said that I wanted to looked to see if my package had been picked up. It was absolutely clear that FedEx did not pick up again. I took my package, made a new label and took it to the UPS store. With Troy knowing me and my husband since 2018 when we began dropping of packages at Mail Central, I expected more customer service from her. I expressed to her the urgency I had in needing to get this package shipped, because on eBay you only have a couple of days to get it shipped. I feel like she at the very least should have called me (my phone number was on the shipping label). I feel like she has no urgency to fix what was happening with FedEx or to service her customers.

I had what I thought was sort of an unusual shipment. It was a pair of loudspeakers that weigh almost 300lbs each. They were packed securely on a pallet and were shipped about 2000 miles to my home. I checked around and got a lot of quotes...from "under the table" shippers, to UPS and FedEx as well as other professional shipping companies. Craters and Freighters was a good deal, and confidence-inspiring when dealing with them. They literally will ship anything unless it's a live animal, so I wasn't worried. I have no hesitation to recommend them.

    I contacted Craters and Freighters in Marietta, GA to ship a vintage mirror I purchased at an…read moreauction. Thomas Dye was my contact person and he was most helpful. His quote was competitive and because I have used Craters and Freighters in other cities for art purchases and always had an excellent experience, I selected C&F again. It was an excellent choice and a wonderful experience. My crate arrived within two weeks and it was much larger than I anticipated. It was extremely sturdy and well-built. Since the mirror was large, vintage and heavy, the crate was built to stand upright and I could not figure out how to open it safely. Mr. Dye provided me with detailed instructions, but I still did not feel that I could safely handle opening the crate on my own. I hired Farber Art Services from Pacifica, CA to hang the mirror. Turns out the crate was easy for them to open, and the mirror was beautifully packed. It survived the 2000 mile trip without any damage at all. I cannot thank Thomas Dye enough and I would highly recommend Craters and Freighters on Roswell Rd in Marietta, GA.

    I had a very frustrating experience with FedEx Office in Dallas, Georgia, and I would not use them…read moreagain for time-sensitive printing. I needed invitations printed quickly and chose this location because the online order process advertised quick printing and showed that my order would be ready the next day. After I completed the order and paid, the pickup date changed to two days later. That was frustrating, but since I had already paid, I decided to wait. Then, when that pickup day arrived, the date was pushed back again by two more days. I spent each day checking my email and order status, only to finally receive a notification after the store was already closed saying the order was ready. Because of that timing, I still had to wait yet another day to pick it up. What made it even worse was that when I tried calling for help, I could not get through to a real person. The automated system could not find my order, so it was impossible to get any actual help or clarification. I was left waiting, checking for updates, and feeling completely stuck. The lack of accurate timing, communication, and customer support was extremely disappointing, especially when I chose FedEx specifically because I needed something done quickly. This has been a stressful and inconvenient experience, and I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. I will not be using this location again for printing.

The service at this location is the worst I've ever experienced across my visits to FedEx Office centers.. The ONLY reason I'm back here today is because it's the closest in distance, and I need to take care of something in a short time frame. NEVER AGAIN. If I ever require a FedEx Office, I'll drive the extra 10 miles out of my way just to avoid this place. I only wish there was a way not to require at least one star. They do not even deserve that much in ratings.
