Now I see what the poor young lady went through who had the horrible experience here. I called for a price per pound, and the jerk that answered was very hostile and hesitant to get into any details. He said they "normally" don't have people drop their stuff off to be shredded since they're mobile. But that he'd be in the office in a couple days. He exhaled a bunch of nasal air in my ear and asked how much stuff I had. I told him 2 trash bags full, he said it would be $65. I asked based on what? Pounds? Volume? Amount? Weight? He threw in my face, "Well, that's what our competitors charge, I'm just trying to do you a favor". Like I'm supposed to swallow the sock he shoved down my throat!? I'm allowed to find out what the quoted price is based on, right? Volume? Weight? Amount? That way I can separate and weigh according to budget. He then said "well it seems like you just called to argue, and I'm just trying to do you a favor." Typical arrogant white male privilege attitude. I have been extremely pleased with all aspects of this company, from the initial paperwork which was completed in only one day, to their subsequent professional service. This is th best thing since Velcro. The company is absolutely on its game. It is quick & secure. They come to you, charge about $80 minimum for a container very much like the large rolling recycle bins. About 250 Lbs. Then $30 each additional. The driver came out to our home & literally shredded 60 years of my late Mother & Father's old bank statements, legal Docs., tax returns, etc. -- With identity theft what it is in the digital age, I wasn't about to throw those docs in the trash. They make shredding really easy. Have used them twice now. If you have just too much to shred, and know it will cost you fortune at a drop off place, and the idea of lugging there is too much, they are the asnwer.
