We ordered them rare, and it was the most amazing food experience of my life. We loved it so much we each got our own steak and shared the different meats. Talk about iron overload. The service was absolutely amazing. We met the owner and she was incredibly generous to us. You definitely get the vibe that they are down to earth people and possibly unaware that their steak is the best on the earth. Part of me doesn't even want to write this review because I don't want people to know about it because it is my new sacred space. Go here. It will be the best experience of your life. And for gods sake, don't cook it more than medium rare.

He knew right away we were tourists and asked if we were here for dinner. He sat us and gave us the menu. This place is a tapas place and what we discovered while in Spain is tapas are very popular here, however the size of tapas varies from restaurant to restaurant. Without having to ask, the waiter explained to us the menu and how many tapas people usually ordered. He was very helpful and friendly. This was quite a change for us as we were in Madrid immediately prior to coming to Sevilla and a lot of the waiters/waitresses there were especially rude to tourists. We ordered 6 tapas including dessert. Some of the tapas were crispy chicken with sweet and sour sauce, Sevillian Cod, and the Thai stir fry. Every one of the tapas was good, if not excellent. The dessert, however, was just average but everything else made up for it. Overall the food was great and the service even better. We will definitely visit this place again if we are in Sevilla.

Some of our favorites were the mushrooms and chorizo, pork & cheese, smoked salmon, and pork cheek. Mushrooms were just a great pairing of textures and flavors. Pork with cheese was really salty and flavorful. They gave a very generous portion of salmon with dill sauce. The pork cheek was super tender although maybe a tad underseasoned. Overall the food was was very tasty. The place was extremely crowded; we got there relatively early for dinner and sat at the bar. The place was completely packed and there was a constant line so I'd recommend making a res if you're able.

It's still one of the best meals I can recall. It's a little bit of a blur at this point, but we LOVED the "A ciggar for Bequer" - which they describe as smooth bechamel with squid ink, cuttlefish and seaweed wrapped in pastry.
